"Hey guys! Guys! Guys! Guess what I heard." Wooyoung screams running to the group sitting at a picnic table outside. Yeosang and Mingi follow behind him, rolling their eyes at the energetic child.
"What did you hear Woo?" Seonghwa asks him, looking up from unwrapping the gimbap that he brought for lunch. Jongho and Yunho also turning away from the food they were sorting to look at the giddy boy in front of them.
Wooyoung speaks up once Yeosang and Mingi finally join the group with more food in hand. "Chris Bang is throwing a party at his place this weekend, and he personally invited our friend group to attend!" San chokes on a noodle at the words leaving the brown haired boys lips. Yeosang side eyeing him to check and see if he is okay.
"WAIT!? CHRIS BANG AS IN JACKSON WANG'S YOUNGER STEP BROTHER!!?!??" Hongjoong screams in a squeaky voice. Eyes widening in realization and shock. Jackson Wang is known as the coolest party thrower in all of Seoul and maybe even South Korea.
"The king of parties, Jackson Wang, his brother is hosting parties now? Hyungs we must attend, it's going to be so fucking lit." Jongho says, jumping up from the bench. Surely his younger brother will throw parties as awesome as the Jackson Wang once did.
"Watch your fucking language child." Seonghwa and Hongjoong say in unison. Both turning to glare at the boy excitedly jumping around with Wooyoung and Yunho.
Everyone is so excited to go to this party. They dive right into talking about their outfits, wasting no time to make this the most epic party of the year. However, one person was awfully quiet. San hadn't uttered a word since Wooyoung mentioned the party.
Again, noticing his sudden shift in attitude Yeosang leans towards San, "Hey, are you okay?" San proceeds to whip his head towards the voice. He had zoned out ages ago. "Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine. Just tired, I had a late night yesterday." San mutters in return.
"Oh, anything on your mind?" Yeah, Jung Wooyoung. San's inner voice says. "Anything I could help you with?" Yeosang looks up at him with the softest of eyes. Maybe it will be okay to voice my concerns to him? "Yeah there is something bothering me," San lets out in a huff.
"Oh? Do you want to talk about it here?" he whispers so only San can hear him.
"Umm..." San looks around the table and notices everyone completely stuck in their own conversion. "...Maybe somewhere else. I don't want them hearing it."
"That's fine with me," Yeosang says with a soft smile. "Hey guys, me and San are going to talk to Ms. Lim about our biology group research paper. See you all after school. We're meeting at Mingi's right?"
The group stops their conversation to turn their heads towards the standing boys. Wooyoung notices San looking unamused and uncomfortable. Why is he looking like that? Hongjoong fumbles with his words before he makes out a sentence, "Oh, okay. Good luck with your paper!"
Confused with Yeosang and San's sudden urge to leave. The group mutters some 'byes' before continuing their talk about the party. It was now Yeosang's mission to get some answers out of San before lunch ended.
----
Once they were far enough for the group not to hear them, Yeosang speaks to San. "Spill it now, what the fuck is up with you? You've been acting distant and weird around everyone recently."
San hangs his head lower "I'm sorry." At these words Yeosang stops walking. Choi San rarely apologizes. This is not like him at all. "Seriously, what's wrong? You're scaring me," he exclaims, turning the black haired boy towards him.
"You can tell me anything, you know we are best friends, right?" utters Yeosang. San lifts his head to look at Yeosang, tears starting to brim his eyes. San never cries, he never shows 'weakness'. "Woah, woah, woah. Come here Sannie." panicking Yeosang brings him into a hug.
