Chapter 2

When Xingqiu got to his locker he saw a boy that had brown hair, he looked kinda sad, He was wearing a black shirt and some jeans. "Hey are you ok?" Xingqiu asks.

"A-Ah! Not really okay" the boy said,"Is there anything I can at least help with at least?" Xingqiu asked."I would like for us to be friends, I'm quite lonely and have no one to hang with" The boy grabbed his bag off the floor,"Sure! I'll be with you and help you with anything you need!" Xingqiu says opening his locker."What's your name?" Xingqiu asks,"Lei" He responds, Lei spots the friendship tassel that Chongyun gave him next to his vision. He bumps into it on purpose, He's known about their friendship for a while. The tassel falls and he quickly picks it up. "That was my pencil" Lei says putting the tassel in his bag, "What class do you have?" Xingqiu asks, "Math, I hate how that's my first class" Lei says leaning on the locker. "Class is gonna start in about 3 minutes, we should get going" Xingqiu says putting his phone on silent. "Oh okay! I'll see you during lunch!" Lei says heading to class.

Lei's POV

     Finally I've got a hold of him, He keeps hanging out with that dumb exorcist popsicle lover. I have the tassel that he gave him though, I'll destroy it soon. "Sign of trust" I've heard him say. Pathetic. I'll strike on that friendship like thunder, I've been waiting to get close to Xingqiu. His beautiful dark blue hair, His eyes, Everything about him I love. I don't want to lose him ever, I don't want the same thing to happen to me.

Once Xingqiu got to his class, he saw Chongyun sitting in the seat that they would always sit at. He walled to the seat and sat down, "Hiiii!" Xingqiu said getting his books out, "Heyyy" Chongyun replied, They both started talking about random stuff. Xingqiu got up to grab a pencil, "Hold on, Where's the tassel I gave you? It would usually be next to your vision" Chongyun asked, "Huh? I didn't even notice, I think it dropped somewhere, I did hear something drop on the floor when I was with a boy though, He said it was his pencil that dropped when he wasn't holding one" Xingqiu said grabbing a pencil frm the cup on the other table."He purposely bumped into you didn't he?" "How would you know that? You weren't even near us" Xingqiu said sitting down, "What if I told you i-" "Good morning class" The teacher said cutting him off. "I'll tell you later" Chongyun whispered turning his head towards the board. Xingqiu started thinking about if Lei took the tassel or not, it was important to him. "I'll ask Lei at lunch" Xingqiu thought.

Xingqiu and Chongyun were walking to lunch together, "Hey!! Xingqiu!" They heard a voice, They both turned around to see Lei, "How did you know my name? I forget to tell you it this morning" Xingqiu said, "Oh! I got it from a girl named Xiangling in my class, Who is this?" Lei asked knowing who Chongyun was, "I'm Chongyun, an exorcist that loves popsicles" The three walked to a table, it was just the three of them at the table, their other friends we're doing random crazy stuff, "Oh yeah Lei is my name" Lei said putting his bag on the floor. "Did you bump into me and grab my tassel that Chongyun gifted to me?" Xingqiu asked, "What? No" Lei says closing his bag, "Let me check your bag" "Help me with this assignment I have to turn in in 2 days" Lei says pulling the assignment out. "No" "You said you would help me with anything didn't you?" Lei said putting the assignment on the table, "R-Right" Xingqiu responds and looks at Chongyun worried, Chongyun nods to let him know it's fine and they'll figure something out.

   After a few weeks Lei has been calling Xingqiu to help him with a lot of things, such as getting his work done, being lonely and more. Xingqiu has no time for hang out with Chongyun.

   Chongyun's POV

      What's up with that Lei boy? He's been with Xingqiu for weeks now. Even in class we don't even talk, even if I try he continues to do his work or read. I'm worried. What will happen to our friendship? I don't wanna lose him, I don't know what's happening. I feel strange around him, it's almost like I want to stay with him forever. I don't know. I'm confused. I'm worried. My face turns red sometimes when I'm near him. What's happening? All I know is that he bumped into him on purpose to grab his tassel for no reason. I've seen it.
