"Spellbound" Part Two

"Well then, c'mon boys lets go collect the 'guardians of Arcadia',"

Archie had just left to get the guardians while Douxie, Thorn and me stayed behind outside the bookstore.

"So," I begin after a couple minutes of silence, "How has it been at the cafe?"

"Good I guess, what about you? Do you run the bakery yet?" We both let out a small laugh,

"No, no not yet." We look at each other and make eye contact and I blush looking at the ground slightly only to see him blush as well. After a few minutes he gets a text, turning my attention to Thorn she seems to be sleeping which she does most of the time. Hearing them come up to us a short chubby kid is talking with a troll and blonde kid following Archie.

"Sorry, this is a lot to process. Pets can talk? The world is ending? Again!?" the short boy exclaims.

"Not the best timing I know, but we need your help all the same." Douxie walks towards the group turning his attention from his phone to them me joining his side.

"Douxie!? Nirvana!?"

"Don't you work at the bakery?" the tall blonde boy says pointing to me, "Wait- what- I thought you worked at the cafe or were like a model or something." He continues pointing to Hisirdoux and I snicker.

Douxie let's out an airy chuckle and his bracelet glows blue as a blue ball of light forms in his hand, "There's a lot about me, you don't know." They look to me and I simply send a little red star in their direction turning into red smoke when it hits the trolls face. The troll laughs and Douxie continues to press his hand against the doors breaking the defensive spell.

"Come on then, the answers to all your questions are within." He states holding the door open.

"Yeah right in a bookstore?" the blonde one remarks.

They all stare up at the floating objects in awe, while Douxie is still holding open the door for me and bows mockingly,

"M'lady." putting my hand over my heart mockingly I smile,

"Oh, why thank you kind sir. Such a gentleman."  we share a laugh and walk inside remembering Camelot.

(Flashback)

I was walking up to my fathers tower with Douxie following close behind when he suddenly runs in front of me as we reach the top of the stairs. I look at him confused but he walks up to the door holding it open for me, doing that stupid smile while gesturing for me to go inside. I blush a little smiling and thank him, walking inside him following close behind once more.

(End Of Flashback)

"Auhhhhhhhhhh there's flying books." The blonde boy observes.

"ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! So cool! So cool! So cool! OOooOooOOo! What's that?" The short kid asks.

"Put that down!" A familiar voice announces. "Thank ether you're here, we haven't a moment to waste!"

"Woah crusty creepy dude!" I stifle a laugh at the blonde boys remark and clear my throat when my father stares at me.

"Though I had hoped for more,"

"We tried! We couldn't find the changelings or the aliens! Pretty sure most left the planet." Hisirdoux replies, I was just about to speak only to get cut off by the short boy.

"MERLIN! It's me! Toby Domzalski! You know, Warhammer! Guardian of Arcadia! Geology club president."

"No one could forget you chatty" Merlin says unamused walking down the stairs still packing things in a chest.
