Killahead Part One - II

"Good thing he has an army!"

All hell breaks loose in only a few seconds as some of the gumm gumms roll down towards the troops. Turning to stone in the falling sun. Douxie pulls me to the side so I don't get crushed or "tenderized" as Gunmar put it.

"We must hold Killahead bridge. No matter what nightmares Gunmar throws at us." My dad states holding his staff out. Gunmar growls

"Arthur! I can smell your fear!" one of the other gumm gumms joins in taunting the king.

"Its leaking out of his pantaloons!" The enemies erupt in laughter as i try my best to hold one i myself. But to no avail a snort breaks its way through, earning a glare from a few soldiers and my dad. I hastily clear my throat and drop my smile returning to my fighting stance.

"Prepare to be crushed!" he makes a fist in front of himself to emphasise his point. Arthur turns around facing us all with a determined look. I inwardly sigh muttering to Archie. "I bet you five bucks he's gonna make a super long speech."

"Knights of the round table," 'oh here we go' "our battle cry will shake the heavens and awake the old gods to witness. Today, we say 'no more' to fear and darkness! For Camelot and glory!" the knights cheer raising their swords in the air and the blue haired boy turns to Jim, Claire and me.

"I know the Trollhunter isn't here, but we are! Champions! And when I get us all home. Brunch on me! For Camelot!" A smile plasters itself on my face and the three of us cheer together. "For Camelot!" As the sun cowers behind the hills, th enemy becomes increasingly closer.

"Hisirdoux, our fates may be uncertain. But there is one thing I am certain of, I chose you well." He lightly puts his fist against douxie's head and they both smile. "Let's show these blokes the power of wizards!" The sun finally disappears, putting the last few moments of peace to rest as the war can begin. The moon is blocked by a canvas of trees leaving us practically drenched in darkness. I take a deep breath readying myself for the long night filled with bloodshed ahead of us.

"For Camelot!" Arthur charges and we all follow suit running down the hill to our death that could be awaiting us. Trolls and humans charging at each other with the intent to kill, finally clash together.

Helloooo! So it has been so long since I've updated (even though I promised to update more over the summer. hehe whoopsie) BUT, I have forced myself to finally get it done and that's what I'm here to do! I am going to try and get the rest of 'Killahead' and "Wizard underground' done today at LEAST. But I honestly might post another one. I am also going on a vacation for a few days starting Sunday, so that's my time frame to get these chapters done. That's all for now, have a good rest of your day/night!
