"Can you drive me somewhere?" Matthew asks.
"Don't you have a license... and a car?" I ask.
"I may or may not have driven 60 in a 45 zone." Matthew says.
"I'll gladly drive you so you don't kill anyone." I say.
"Good thing you got your license." Matthew says.
I got my driver's license last week
"Okay, now we can go home." I say.
"You need to get your license. I can not be driving you around for the rest of my life." Y/n says.
"I have a permit." I say.
"Yeah, but when I let you drive, you like to go the exact speed limit. Which is good but not on the interstate." Y/n says.
Just like we always talked about
"When you get your license next year, I'm gonna walk back home so you can drive home alone for the first time." Y/n says.

"Are you crying?" Matthew asks.
"Yes." I say sniffling.
