Duke 𝓦𝓸𝓻𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓑𝓪𝓻𝓷

A bright morning. The sun was just rising above the mountains. The birds were chirping their happy tone, waking you up. You flutter your eyes open, seeing the new world you teleported to. The world were you met Duke. A demi-human you helped you once you arrived. The man you fell in love with. The new world. Altera (I'll fix this I the spelling is wrong). A world were humans, demi-humans, and many more share as home. You look over to your right to see Duke asleep, but still holding you close. He was holding you like he was about to lose you. You started to mess with his hair, so fluffy in the morning. Omg why is he so precious. You think to yourself as you continue to pet him. You feel him hug you tighter and make tiny grunts. He flutters his eyes open, and looks up at you.
"Oh. Hehe. Mornin' darlin'. How'd you sleep?" he asks you in a sleepy voice. You continue to play with his hair and kiss his forehead.
"I slept well." you say with a smile. Duke yawns an get out of bed. You watch as he goes to grab some clothes to start the day.
"Well. I have to work on stuff in the barn. You willing to help?" duke asks as he puts on a white, loss, button up shirt. You start to get out of bed and yawn.
"Mhm. You know I'm always willing to help you." you say half yawning. Duke, now what looks like he's fully dressed, walks out of the room, probably going to go make breakfast. You get out of bed and head for the closet, and change into a nice red flannel, and some jeans. (Picture below)

You walk out of the room, and into the kitchen. Duke was already walking out the door when he saw you.
"I'm gonna start working. See you in a bit darlin'" he says and walks out towards the barn. You grab the breakfast the he layed pit for you and start eating. There's something about Duke's cooking that makes your mouth water. Though your breakfast was just eggs and bacon, Duke always make food to perfection. After eating, you walk out of the house and towards the barn. The fields looked like tiny little people trying to do the wave as the wind started to blow. You walk down a small, dirty path towards the barn. You can hear Duke moving something in the barn, but you couldn't tell what. You walk into the barn to see Duke moving hay bails into a stack on the West side wall. You see gloves to your left and out them on, knowing you'll probably take them off later in the day.
"Ok I'm here Duke! Where shall I start?" you ask him. He turns around to face you.
"Hey darlin'. Could you go grab those two buckets and go fill them with water? We're gonna need some for a couple of crops." he says to you. You nod and go to try am find those buckets. You stay to look back at the entrance of the barn, when you hear someone walking up behind you. You turn around, only for Duke to pull you into a kiss. His lips pressed into yours. You blush. You weren't expecting him to do this so suddenly, but you kiss him back. You both pull away and Duke smiles at you. "Sorry darlin'. I couldn't resist. Also the bucket snare over there." he says and points next to some hay bales. You smile at him, giving him a hug and a kiss on the check before grabbing the buckets. Today is gonna be amazing. I just have that feeling. You thought to your self as you walked out of the barn. Ready to start your day.
