Zeke 𝓐𝓷 "𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓭" 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮

Halloween. Your favorite holiday (I'm sorry if it isn't). West Haven always goes all out for Halloween every year. It was crazy. You woke up that morning feeling excited. You couldn't wait to see everyone in their costumes. Zeke decided to keep his a surprise, so you did the same. You decided to do your favorite OC (whatever that may be). The one Zeke helped you make. You had the wig, clothes, contacts, and all the accessories needed for this costume. You put everything on and go to look for your phone and backpack. You leave your room and find both. You check the time and realized you're gonna be late. You run out of your house, skipping breakfast, and head to school. Finally arriving, you see people in their amazing costumes. You see Jace as a werewolf, Noah as a farmer, Creepy Connie as..... Herself, Cameron as a bunny and someone talking with him as a lamb. You look around, trying to find Zeke. You walk around until someone taps you on the shoulder. You turn around to see Zeke.... As a zombie.
"Well hey there hot stuff. I missed you." Zeke says to you with a smile. His makeup design that he did actually looked real. He even had a glove that made it look like he was missing a finger.
"Hey babe! Oooooh! I love your costume! It looks so real!" you say to him as you examine him more.
"Yea.... Costume. I know it looks real. I had a.... friend help me out." he says to you with a sly smile. You both walk into the school, seeing the other students and their awesome costumes. We went to our lockers which happened to be next to each other, and grabbed our books for the next class. Looking over at Zeke, you can tell that he was nervous about something, but you didn't know what. You grab his "normal" hand and give it gentle squeeze.
"Hey um... Are you ok? You're acting off." you say to him in a soft voice. He looks at you with a worried look. Like he wanted to tell you but just didn't know how. You squeezed your hand back. Like he was telling you that he was heard, looking down at you with a smile.
"I'm fine babe. I'll....tell you later. I promise. After school. We'll meet by that oak tree in the back ok?" Zeke asks you with a shy but sad smile. You nod, grab your last books, close your locker, and head off to class. While walking to class, you see Mr. Class watching you and Zeke with a very intense look. Like he needed to know every moment you made. Zeke puts his hand on your back, pushing you forward. "Man is he creepy. Let's just get going. I can tell he's making you uncomfortable." Zeke whispers to you as you both walk right past Mr. Glass. His stare getting more intense as you both walk by. Like he knows everything bad you've ever done in your life time. You had to go upstairs for your first class so you give Zeke a big hug before heading up.
"Love you babe! See you during break!" you say as your walking up stairs. You're first class just so happened to be with Zeke's dad. You sit down at your assigned seat and waited for class to start.

Time skip

The bell rings on your 2nd period class. You pack your papers, grab your books, and head out of the classroom. You head straight to your locker, knowing that you just have this last class and the school will be out (due to the fact that it's a short day today), also wanting to know why Zeke has been acting strange all day. You look ahead to see Zeke at his locker, putting a bottle of pills on the bottom shelf. Weird. I didn't know Zeke had to take pills. Oh god I hope he's ok. You thought to yourself as you walk up to him. He sees you and gives you a big hug out of the blue. It was so sudden that you almost dropped your books. "Wow. That's sudden. You ok Zeke?" you ask, generally worried about your partner. He looks down at you and nods his head.
"I'm fine babe. Just... Got a lot of thoughts in my head right now." he says to you while hugging you tighter. You could feel his hand on your neck. Cold. No matter how the temperature was, Zeke was always a little bit colder than most people were. He stops hugging you and helps you put your stuff away. "Welp. Knowing you and how late you got to school, I'm gonna guess you didn't eat breakfast, huh?" Zeke says to you with a little chuckle. You laugh and nod. Zeke then grab your hand an pulls you to the cafeteria. You both get your food and head to the big oak tree. While eating, you can't help but feel like Zeke is giving you a look. Something you can't describe but just know. You look over to him, seeing that he's looking out into the distance. "Hey babe. There's something I need to tell you." Zeke says, still looking into the distance. He closes his eyes. Like he was scared to tell you. "Remember when we went into those cabinets? Well.... I went back. And.... I found out something." Zeke tells you. You looked at him with shock. Not knowing how to respond. He gets up and faces you. "This.... This isn't a costume. This is real. I'm...." he looks away from you. You try to grab his hand, to make him look at you but he pulls away. "I'm not human. I'm.....a monster. You.... We.... I...... " he turns around and starts running away. You couldn't move. No words would come out. You close your eyes, feeling the tears coming out of your eyes. ₣ØⱤ ₮ⱧɆ ₵łⱤ₵ⱠɆ. ₣ØⱤ ₮ⱧɆ ₩ØⱤⱠĐ. You open your eyes to find yourself inside your room. Like you've just woken from a nightmare. You hop out of bed. 11:34Am. Saturday, August 14, 2021. It wasn't even October. It was a dream thank god. You think to yourself. You notice a weird card on your desk. You pick it up to look at it, only to throw it across the room. (Picture of card below)

You get a call from Cameron, telling you how he has this weird card in his room. With a red circle, warning signs, and pink heart on it. Your jaw dropped. What if everyone who was in the black cabinet got one of these cards? You ask yourself. You look back to the card you got. If your theory was correct then.... What are you?
