Rise Of A Leader (Transformers RID)

Prologue

"15 long years have passed since the coronation. So much as happened since then. I'll try and make it brief for you, Optimus."

Queen Aura stood on a platform over looking the Well of Allsparks. She had an aqua blue plating with green highlights and golden optics. She wore the royal crown on her head with a red cape drapped down her back.

It had been a long while since she last visited this place.

"I wish I could tell you everything bit by bit, but I can't make the others wait all night for me." she chuckled nervously.

A light flashed at the bottom of the well. Aura smiled, taking a guess that the Prime was listening to her. 

"Well, where to start?... I suppose the big, important bit of this story is, well, me and Smokescreen... had a sparkling." Aura couldn't stop herself from smiling even more. "A healthy young mech. We decided to name him Dominus. Latin for Lord, an ancient language from Earth, and well, it takes a bit after you. It's hardly to believe he's a teenager now. It only seems like yesterday when we had him.

Mirage has become king of Velocitron, the speed planet. He hasn't found a queen of his own yet, though he is ruling the planet with a steady hand. Because of him, our two planets have become more close than ever before.

I'm afraid the Dinobots have had it bad these last few years. Grimlock got into an accident, and it ended up with massive property damage charges. The poor mech was sentenced to a Decepticon prison ship of all places! Even with my new role, I wasn't able to help him. But Grimlock seemed to take it well. He assured me that he would be alright. 

Ultra Magnus is still growing strong. Though I sense he will retire soon from his post one of these days. He deserves the break. Everyone does. 

What else?... Oh yeah! Bumblebee retired from the Elite Guard a couple years back, took some time off to relax. He's now working as a street cop, a lieutenant actually. Even landed himself a cadet for a partner."

Aura sighed as she looked up at the evening sky. The sun was beginning to set, so she only had so much time left.

"But, I'm worried about my Prince. While he is excelling in his schooling, and his fight training beginning, I'm worried his eagerness and lack of patience may get the better of him. I can sense that he has the potential of becoming a leader.

I'm just wondering when it will show."

She heard footsteps walking up the stairs to the top of the platform. "Your highness?"

Aura turned around to see one of the royal guard. Plating the standard golden and light blue plating, carrying a long staff in one hand like a walking stick. 

"It's time to get going." He acknowledged. "He is waiting for you at the shuttle."

"Of course." Aura nodded in reply. She took one last glance down the well, clapping her hands together as she muttered a quick Cybertronian prayer. "Please show me a sign. To help Dominus."

Once she was finished, she met up with the guard as the two of them descended down the stairs. When they reached the bottom, they were met with two more guards and a dark blue and yellow mech. He had blue optics who also wore a crown and red cape.

Smokescreen. 

Her King.

"Ready to head back home?" he asked.

"Indeed." She smiled.

Smokescreen smiled as he stood to the side, waving his hand towards the open door of the shuttle. "After you." He assisted Aura inside first before following behind. The three guards entered the shuttle as the door closed. One of the guards signalled the pilot and the shuttle egnited, making its way into and through the city of Iacon.
