Paris Tragedy [captain hydra x stony ff]

chapter one

"GAH!" He woke up from the nightmare. Sweating heavily that his body is wet like he just finished taking bath.

Breathing heavily, he thought he was on a marathon for a second.

It felt too real. The touches. All still there. I'm still tied to him.

Tony thoughts to himself as he runs his hands through his messy hair which make it messier. "This is probably the 999th I had the same dream. Over and over again. When will this stop?"

He cries into his hands, unable to treat the fact that what happened to him and the guy who did it... or should he just refer to him as Steve?

"How am I going to face you, Steve? After all that had happened? It's too much..." After crying so much he ended up falling asleep again.

Now that he is rescued, all he did after coming back is trapping himself in his room. Avoiding all possible contacts. Only interact when Natasha or Bruce came to send his meals which he don't really eat.

Even Jarvis or Dum-E wasn't in service right now. He doesn't even talk to any of his sons. Just caging himself in his big room while the rest of the team being dead worried about him, especially the real Steve.

The man that he admired since he was a kid, up until ten months ago where he just confessed but now things spiralled out differently.

He don't know where did he go wrong, or what could possibly be the reason he was treated like shit.

Flashback to when he was just rescued, he fell into Steve's arms and woke up to a big white room with hands tied to the bed rails. He looked over the bedside and saw Steve sleeping. He went panic mode and started yelling.

He thought Steve was the guy that kidnapped and tortured him. With the situation where he is being tied, added to the panic. Steve woke up and called for the doctor and they came in to give him a shot so he can calm down.

Since that day, everytime for the whole week Tony was treated at the hospital, Steve wasn't able to go near him anymore after they noticed Tony's reaction and behaviour whenever he saw the man. Even when Steve is only checking through the door glass.

Natasha has had her own thoughts but is yet to share it with the team since she wanted to keep an eye on Tony. At least until he gets better.

Steve was truly heartbroken when he saw Tony in that situation. It hurts him even more when he couldn't be there for him despite being completely available. He wants to know shit but there's just nothing can come to his mind on how does Tony got kidnapped when they were together?

He tried to get Natasha to tell him since she is one of the few that have access to Tony but the girl wasn't on it. She has something else on her mind that made her distanced herself from Steve for awhile.

It makes sense though. Tony went hysteria when he saw Steve and he seemed traumatized and scared for life rather than looking sad and to be accompanied by his fiance.

The suspicious grown heavier on Steve's probability of being involved in Tony's kidnapping. Aside from being with his lover and proposed to him in Paris, there's really nothing else that could support him to repel his suspected involvement in the case. He is the closest to Tony and had the highest access to the man.

The fact that they know each other even added to the suspicious list on why Steve should be a suspect. Fury sent Clint to track down the couple's last visited place before Tony went missing and how exactly did they kidnapped Tony when they were in a public place during the day.

Natasha asked Bruce to keep eyes on the man when she went on the mission with Clint. Thor did came to Earth to visit Tony but he wasn't able to see him. He left after almost a week there when he learned that something is wrong with the team. He can see it from the way they were around each other since the kidnapping incident.

Pepper dropped by once in a while to check on Tony and she only got in twice. But that's because she actually broke inside with the help of Jarvis. Tony cried into her hug and she stopped coming by when she noticed Tony is being super sensitive about Steve. She needed to get something out of this twisted situation but she couldn't abandon her works too. She just let Natasha and Clint do their work and stay focused on Stark Industries.

Steve had it all on his mind. He is willing to do anything to get Tony back into his arms. He is devastated. He is frustrated. The more he waited, the anger he became. He started to lose his patience but he tried his fucking best to still holding on for Tony. He knows if he break, it will be the hell for them both.

He almost forced Bruce to open the door for him because he couldn't stand being away from Tony like this but Thor stopped him. They all understood his disappointment but they don't want to take the risk letting him in and destroyed Tony.

Steve was in great pain. They live under the same roof but can't see each other. Tony is sick but he can't treat him. Tony is sad but he can't make him happy. Tony is crying but he can't wipe the tears. Not to mention that he actually don't even know what the hell is going on inside Tony's room. He almost lost his mind. He felt completely useless. He is nothing but a very useless man ever.
