Just Kiss Me Already

Dinner (Mitch's POV)

The dinner was tonight. I pick out a suit and tie. Yeah, that will be good. I know she'll look beautiful. I still have an hour but I figured I would text her and remind her.
Me- Don't forget about tonight!
Kirstie- I wouldn't miss it for the world. Trust me, I'll be there.
Me- Ok see you in an hour.
She said she wouldn't miss it for the world. Wow, she's perfect. I sit down and turn on the tv. My anxiety is acting up. I'm so nervous.

I deal with my anxiety for another 45 minutes before I figure it's time to go. I grab my keys and run out to the car. I bring the bracelet I bought her. Yes, I bought a bracelet. I figured it would be nice. We meet at the Restaurant called Minnie's. (AN- Don't know if there is a restaurant called Minnie's.) She looks beautiful. She's wearing a red dress that goes down to her knees with a black purse and matching black heels. Believe it or not Minnie's is a very fancy restaurant. Kirstie wanted to go because she likes Minnie Mouse. And because they have good food. I take her hand and she smiles. I smile back and walk her in. "Just two?" The lady asks. "Yes, just two." I say and look at Kirstie. She smiles at me again and of course, I smile back. The lady walks us back to a small round table. It has a vase with a single rose and a candle. "Have you ever been here before?" Kirstie asks settling in to her side of the quaint table. "Have I? I practically have their whole menu memorized." I say and laugh. She laughs too.
"Hello, my name is Jaide. I will be your server today. Shall we start off with drinks?" (Shoutout to ptxfan14 if your reading!)
"I will have your pulled pork, please." Kirstie says.
"Same." I say.
"Ok, I will have that ready for ya in just a minute." Jaide says and walks to the kitchen.
"Tell me about yourself." I say.
"Well, I was born in Texas. And I grew up here. My best friends name is Anna. I agreed to go to a concert with her and...... I just realized your had to cancel your tour because of me.....huh?" She looks guilty as her speaks with her head down.
"Yes, but it is worth it. The guys understand I need someone." I say as I gently pull her head back up.
"There is one thing though. We just put it off for a while. So I'll be leaving in a week or so." I mumble looking into her eyes with sorrow. Her eyes almost fill completely up with tears. I hate to do this to her. I pull out the bracelet and open it. This time... her eyes were really filled with tears.
