Sherlock walked up the steps to the plane holding back the things he's left unsaid
John stood there his heart wanting to tell the truth but his head telling him he shouldn't say it... "It's your last chance" his conscience whispered. He looked over to Mary and then back to sherlock who was at the plane's entrance.
"Sherlock! Wait!" He screamed and ran up the steps, he looked at his best friend, the one he had already lost once before and couldn't lose again without telling him.
"William sherlock Scott Holmes" he said proudly as he pulled him into a tight hug...
"I love you"
He felt sherlock's arms tighten around him and tears threatened to spill.
"John Hamish Watson, I love you too"
