Change

Edith's Point of View
Today is the day. The day I won't be Edith anymore... I'll be Elizabeth White.
Why the change ? I'm tired of my life, I'm gonna become a Youtuber and change my whole life.
I told my plan to Giovanna and she supported me. She went to the store and bought hair dye and came back.

"Ok Edith let's start." She put the gooey substance in my hair and then left it alone.
"We leave it like that for an hour then you go take a shower and you'll be Blonde Elizabeth" She smiled fakely.

"How do I change my name ?" I asked reading a magazine. Giovanna was in her phone.

"I got that done sweetheart !!!" She handed me papers of the court and it was official. Im Elizabeth White now.

( I don't know if we can do that lmao )

"And here are your contact lenses" She handed me a box with contact lenses inside.

"Thank you" I smiled and had her a hug.
"Now I have to change my phone number, delete my social media accounts but before I do that give a shoutout to Elizabeth" I sighed.

This was so much work. Giovanna was the only person who knows about this. My parents know too about me changing my hair and eye color but not my name. And once I graduate, Im off to California !! I'm so excited, hopefully in a great Youtuber.

I stepped out of the shower and looked into the mirror. Goodbye Edith, Hello Elizabeth White. My new blonde hair was strange. I'm used to seeing my brown locks, not blonde. But you can see a bit of my brown hair, so it was really dirty blonde.

Now the contacts. I held my eye open with one hand and slipped the contact into my eye and did the same with my other eye. I didn't bother looking at my new self I went to get dressed and off to the park with Dale. He wanted to see the new me. And I'm glad he wanted to.

I put on a blue pair of high waisted jeans with my Nirvana shirt tucked in and black combat boots and my blonde hair straightened.

I actually felt pretty. Well this is gonna be new. I retreated my phone and jogged downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen and my parents looked at me. They looked from the tip of my toes to top of my head with a big smile.

"Edith, you look beautiful !!!!" My momma cooed and gave me a hug.
"Thank you mom" I said.
My dad looked at me weirdly. He poked my cheeks and his eyes went wide open.

"Edith !!! WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU?!" He joked.

I giggled and my mom joined me

"You look absolutely beautiful" He smiled.
"Thank you, I gotta go meet up with Dale. Bye !" I said and jogged out of the house hopping into my car and driving off to the park.

It was a cloudy day and windy. But it wasn't cold, it felt refreshing to have the wind blowing into my hair.

I looked around for Dale and there he stood leaning against a tree looking at the kids playing basketball and football.

Sneaking up behind him, I yelled "Boo".
He didn't seem scared. He just looked at me with a smile.

"Edith ?" He asked.
I nodded.
"You look so beautiful !!!" He yelled and pulled me into a hug.

A week later. Elizabeth has changed her number. From the shoutout she received, she earned 60k followers in a day.
Her username is @ElizabethxWhite
Bio : Youtuber ✌️ First video up on April 5. Embrace your weirdness. Obsessed with Oreos.
And her first post was a selfie of hers and got 45,679 likes in a snap.
And the same with her twitter. She got 70.7k followers.
"Edith's" old accounts got deleted.

On Instagram, she saw Nialls account. He had just posted a selfie and he looked happy. She wanted to follow him so bad but she stopped herself.
She already promised to herself to stay away from 1D and 5sos. What did 5sos do ? Nothing. But if you say 5sos, 1D are right behind them.

This is Elizabeth's new life.
