CHAPTER 6 - I SHOULD HAVE STAYED AT HOME

MYSELF : It is for DERICK.

EVAN : What ? from when did you know that she loves Derick(in a angry tone)

MYSELF : She told me a few days ago! She told me that she is going to confess her feelings to him tonight.

He was angry . I was out of plan. I have never seen Evan this angry. It made me feel guilty. He was my friend. I should've told him that it was for Derick right on that day itself.

EVAN :Does EVA know this ?

MYSELF : Y...yes. She helped Sandra to give him a surprise..

Wait why did I even tell him this. I must be out of mind . He had glass in his hand .He throwed the glass near me.

It made me startled and a little piece of glass scratched my hand. My hand started to bleed.

Everyone's eyes were on us .Eva came to hold Evan but he shrugged off her hand and went out of the room. I started to bleed badly. Keith came straight to me and wrapped my hand with his hankie. We went to the medical room.

Sandra ,Derick, Eva and Keith were waiting for the doctor to finish the treatment. After the doc left ,everybody came in and asked me what happened .

MYSELF : Derrick can you stay out for a minute.(he nodded and left).Sandra, Evan loves you. He wanted to tell you this for a real long time but he was afraid. Eva knows this too. But still she helped you to surprise Derick. He knows the truth; he is angry . I have never once seen him like that (I felt like crying, but I controlled it, as I hate crying in front of others). It's me who is wrong here. I should've told him that day that his paper was written by you. I lied to him and never once encouraged him to confess his feelings to you. I told him about the surprise too. He got angry because even Eva did not tell about this to him. I'm sorry! I should've not come to the party today.

I went inside the blanket in the bed and started to cry. Eva and Sandra went to find him. We thought Derick doesn't know anything. But he heard everything .So he started to search for him too. Keith was with me .

Keith sat near me and took the blanket off me .

KEITH :Andreya get up. I want to talk with you .

MYSELF : Leave me alone Keith I don't want you to see me like this.

KEITH : Andreya it is not your fault. You wanted him not to get hurt. If I were you I would do the same. Everything is going to be alright. Your friends are always there for you no matter what, so Evan will soon understand you and you guys are going to be alright!

I will search Evan for you. I promise you that nobody gets hurt in this. I never looked at him, but his words meant a lot to me.

After Keith left the room, I went straight to my home.

MYSELF : Mom ,I'm home.

MOM : Sweetie, what's this in your hand ? Are you hurt ? Come let's go to the hospital.

MYSELF : Mom, I'm alright. I went to the medical room and they have already cleaned my wound. I'm okay now. I'm tired. Can I go to my room?

MOM : Yes Sweetie you go, I will bring you a cup of milk.

I went to my room, changed my dress and lay on my bed.

Meanwhile Derick saw EVAN near a lake .

DERICK : Evan, are you okay? Come let's go Eva is searching for you (Derick pulled his hand but Evan pushed him away )

He was too drunk to even stand on his legs.

EVAN : You are the reason why I am here. Before you came everything was alright. We were close enough to share a secret but after you came everything changed. Andreya, she is not a girl to keep secrets. My sister, she supported you and not me . I became an unwanted person for you all, right!!

DERICK : No, Evan that's not the truth!!

Before Derick could even finish the sentence Evan threw his fist at Derick and he fell right on the ground. Eva was on the way .
