Jessica awoke in a cellar. Her eyes adjusted to the dim light in the room and the burning sensation around her wrists and ankles. She looked down and struggled against ropes and strained against the duct tape on her mouth to scream. Tears started to make their way down her face and before she knew it she was balling hysterically.
Her eyes widened in fear as heavy footsteps shook the basement stairs. The boy who took her was smirking down at her, surveying his work. He seemed to enjoy her helplessness and struggling. With a hollow, deep laugh her came towards her. He now towered over her petite frame in the chair and eyed her up and down.
Shaking under his gaze she averted her eyes and looked towards the floor trying to hold back the tears that threatened to betray her. She didn't want him to know how scared she was, she needed to be strong and find a way out she was sure of it. His rough hands grabbed her chin forcing her to look into his eyes. Her blue eyes and light skin paled in comparison to his rich chocolate brown eyes and tanned complexion.
Sensing her fear he chuckled, the deafening sound filling the room. She wondered how such a young and innocent looking boy could be so evil. Sure he was creepy but she would have never guessed he was capable of this. His eyes flickered to her own and he began to speak. "I've been watching you for a long time now, little Jessica. I knew you were mine the first moment I saw you. And I just had to have you. I've been watching you throughout your daily schedule for months and planned to strike at the right moment. I enrolled at your high-school and made it seem as if I was a new neighbor. But now we are no where near the little town of Springfield. I'm glad I have you now because you're never getting out." He threatened standing so close his hot breath sent chills down her back. She winced slightly but put on a brave face. She would NOT be letting him come anywhere near her. She looked up at him in disgust, seething. "You know you're sick!" She shouted angrily at him. As his fist attempted to strike a blow she leaned out of the way, catching the rope on a nail near the wall ripping it slightly.
She struggled to quickly remove the ropes and was soon untied. She briefly stood up and faced her kidnapper getting up from the ground, the waves of anger rolling off of him. "HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!" He roared swinging at Jessica. She ducked, his fist barely missing her face. She thought quickly as adrenaline pumped through her veins. She noticed a metal pan near her foot and grabbed it, banging his head with it. He groaned in pain but continued to pursue her. She was half way up the stairs when a hand pulled her foot and made her stumble back. Now she was on the floor and at the mercy of this monster.
"Honey you're not going anywhere." He barked. Just before she passed out from shock she felt his fist connect with her face sending pain shooting through her jaw. Soon everything went black and she succumbed to the darkness.
