This was too much. Way too much.

This wasn't part of the plan.

The plan was to finish his studies and get the fuck out of this place. The plan was to forget all about his mate. The plan was to live a happy life, without the person who had broken his heart seconds within meeting him.

And yet, the plan he had devised in his mind for years was falling apart, piece by piece the more he simply took a glimpse at Yoongi. The more he got to see his gummy smile. The more he got to see his soft and caring side. The more he got to see his mate's real self.

And that wasn't good.

This wasn't part of the plan. This wasn't part of the fucking plan...

Hoseok needed air. His lungs were beginning to constrict again. The same way they would when he was freaking out and couldn't handle all that was happening.

He got up and walked out of the dorm, not even bothering to lock the door. There was only one thing that could calm him down and help get his jumbled thoughts and emotions back on track.

The cold midnight wind flew past Hoseok's silver fur and paws dug deep into the moist forest floor for a stable grip. The smell of orchids and rain swelled in his chest when he breathed in. It was cleansing.

He hadn't been running for too long. Luckily, since the school had supernaturals only, it had been built near a forest. Wolves couldn't go too long without shifting every once in a while anyway.

Hoseok ran full speed as a destination made itself known in his mind. Past the large trees and shrubs. A few animals scrambled away at the sound of paws pounding against the ground but he paid them no mind.

The flex of his bones and joints left him breathless and scents of nature filled him with a sense of calm. He spotted the familiar boulder. After a few steps, a wall of shrubs and palm tree leaves blocked his view. He then silently crept through, knowing full well that there was more behind.

When he got through, he saw the long stone ledge, adorned with moss and ferns. Past the rocks, down below, angry ocean waves roared as they obstreperously crashed against the solid piece of land. They rolled and tumbled over one another, creating a breathtaking sight. The full moon gleamed with all its glory and soft light.

Hoseok paused when he saw a small figure sitting dangerously close to the ledge. He had an idea of who it was from the mint green hair that fluctuated in a blurry flutter. But it was the coincidental gust of wind that confirmed his observation.

Yoongi.

His leather jacket and flannel shirt whipped around in the harsh wind, strong enough to even knock Hoseok in his wolf form over but Yoongi didn't even sway. He was surprised to see him here. To see anyone really.

Things were a bit awkward after that night. But the sexual tension was still there. And Hoseok was reminded of it everytime Yoongi stared at him a little too long.

Hoseok remembers the scent of arousal coming off of Yoongi when Hoseok passed his open door, fresh out of the shower and a towel around his waist. Yoongi had been working on some music (a hobby Hoseok soon found out he had) and licked his lips when his towel dipped lower around his waist. And if Hoseok was in human form at the moment, he's positive he'd be blushing furiously.
