Three

In the kitchen you found a can of soup and you barely managed it to cook the soup.

Yuri came in and you gave her a bowl with the soup.

"I excuse myself if it doesn't taste good, I'm not a good cook." you apologized.

"No problem." she smiled, and you ate your soups in silence.

After you finished eating you told her that there was only one bed and that she could use it, because you would take watch.

She thanked you and then went to sleep while you sat on the couch and refilled your sniper.

Because you were bored you took out a marble out of your pocket and freed the gun inside.

You disassembled it and then put it back together a few times and then with your eyes closed.

After that you put the gun back into the marble, stood up, grabbed your sniper and left the room.

You walked around on the corridors and a few meters away from the room you leaned on the wall.

Next to you was a corner and you hear footsteps.

You waited for the person to turn around but instead you heard how someone leaned against the other side of the wall.

You heard the familiar soft clank of a lighter.

You knew that someone light a cigarette and sighed softly.

"Have you with any chance a cigarette for me?" you asked, and you instantly know that the person tensed up.

You even knew that it was a mask, but you had a feeling that the person you identified as a male won't kill you.

"I suppose." a deep voice answered.

"And don't walk around the corner or I have to kill you." the voice continued.

"I didn't intend to." you answered.

A gloved hand appeared with a cigarette and you took it.

"Thank you." you said and lighted the cancer stick with your own lighter.

You smoked in silence with the mysterious mask that can speak.

After an hour of just standing there and thinking you pushed yourself of the wall so you can walk back to your room.

"Goodbye, I suppose we will meet again." you said.

You heard a hum and then you walked back into the room and locked the door.

You walked straight to the bathroom and laid your gun at the door.

You stripped your clothes and took a shower.

You enjoyed the warm water and leaned your head on the cold stonewall.

You stepped out of the shower after half an hour, dried yourself and then dressed again but you didn't put on your vest, you opened the two buttons on the top of your shirt and then laid down on the couch, a gun in your hand, just for safety.

It was the next morning and you slept for four hours, you couldn't sleep longer, you're an insomniac.

You looked at the watch on the wall and saw that it was half past seven.

You sighed and got up from the couch so you could stretch and after that you put the gun back into a marble.

You heard your bones pop and then you closed the buttons your shirt and put back on your vest and tie.

Then you swung the sniper around your shoulder and went to Yuri's room.

You knocked and then walked in only to see her still sleeping.

You softly shook her and stepped back when she woke up.

"Mornin'..." she mumbled.

"Wake up Yuri, we have to keep walking if you want to see your brother again." you said, and she sat up.

"Alright, I'm there in five minutes." she said and went to the bathroom and you simply walked to the kitchen to see if you find anything to eat.

When you didn't find anything, and Yuri came back you told her that there isn't anything to eat.

You two were walking for two hours now when you heard some begging around the next corner.

"P-Please d-don't k-kill me!"

You glanced around the corner and saw that it wasn't a mask, it was a blond-haired girl with a gun.

You stepped around the corner with Yuri and started speaking.

"Isn't it rude to kill someone who didn't do anything?" you asked.

The blonde looked at you surprised when you held your sniper in her direction.

Suddenly you heard a bang next to you and the gun flew out of the girl grip.

"Good shot." you praised Yuri.

Suddenly the girl pulled out a knife and slashed the man's throat.

"Why do you kill the little humans that are in this realm?" you asked.

"The helicopter only takes one person, and I'm determined to take it."

Suddenly you saw the glimpse of a scope and cursed under your breath.

"Get behind the corner, NOW!" you ordered with a harsh voice and the girls instantly obeyed you.

You followed them and turned around to explain.

"Yuri, girl, there is a mask with a rifle at the end of the hall. I'll distract him and you run up to the helicopter."

"Yes!"

"M'kay, my name is Mayuko by the way."

You nodded and shot a few times at the wall.

Suddenly you saw that something hit Mayuko's knife on the ground and it dashed into the wall next to your head.

"He's good..." you mumbled.

"But nobody's better than me... NOW!" you ordered in the end and the girls ran to the staircase while you shot a few bullets and then followed them.

You heard footsteps and you cursed again.

"He's following us." you said.

"I'm gonna use my special weapon, you saved my ass." Mayuko said.

She pulled out a grenade, unplugged it and threw it down the stairs.

You three heard a loud boom and then continued walking up the stairs.

"Girls, you're save without me. I'm going my way now." you told them and turned around.

"I hope our paths cross one day again." you said and then walked down the stairs.

"Wait! y/n!" Yuri yelled but you ignored her.
