One month laterKayKay gets to finally come home! AYYYYYYEEEEE! I am so ready for my babies to both be under the same roof.
"Okay Ms.KayKay it's time for you to go, home my little fighter" Nurse Brenda said putting Kay in her car seat with tears in her eyes
We have all grew close to Nurse Brenda over the last month. About a week after I was discharged Kay's health went downhill drastically. Nurse Brenda was there every step of the way. When we couldn't see her, Nurse Brenda video called and sent us pictures every day that she worked.
She walked us down and helped get her in the car.
"Nurse Brenda we actually have a gift for you," I said smiling
I went in the front seat and grabbed her bag out of the front
When she opened it she teared up
inside was
a note, chocolates, roses, two photos of her and Kay, and 10k in cash
Dear Nurse Brenda,
Thank you so much for being there for our little princess when we couldn't. The love that you have shown her could not be paid back in any way, shape, or form.
Roses because your soul is beautiful
Chocolates because you are so sweet
Photos because you will always be in our memories
and cash even though our gratitude is priceless
We will never forget you. Thank you again
Love, The Walters
"Ohh my goodness. Thank you, but I can't take this baby." She rushed trying to give it back to us.
Ken pushed it back towards her and went to the car
"We owe you everything, this is the least we can do," I said hugging her and got in the car.
We are finally taking our baby home
Later that day
When we finally made it home in the garage Ken started acting weird
"Ken, what's going on with you? "
Ken said nothing as he got KayKay out of her car seat and walked us in. Kj jumped up and down excited as He walked us in the living room
"Sit down right here honesty" I sat in the couch and he turned the tv on.
The black screen lit up with my name on in
"Honesty Nicole Davis"
