This is a special chapter just for fun.
Kyoya and the other hosts are lords/princes from wealthy families while Haruhi and Jun are servants. This is an alternate universe.
This does not affect the original plotline. This is just a fun break from the timeline and some fluff (or angst?).

The kingdom streets were crowded with merchants selling goods from the village over and fresh fruits and vegetables that were grown locally. For the poor, chaos was a common occurrence, from early in the morning to late at night, the stalls were always filled with people and children.
"Jun-senpai? Where are you?" A maiden with short brown hair shouted and pushed through the crowd, trying to find her friend.
"Hey! Watch it!"
"Sorry!" Haruhi apologized to the man she bumped into and continued searching. "Senpai! Ju- There you are!" She found the boy next to a stall that was selling hand-crafted fans and wooden toys. Jun grabbed Haruhi's hand and placed a small wooden doll in her palm. The doll was painted, pale skin with short brown hair and big doe eyes, it looked like Haruhi.
"That lovely toy is two silver pieces." The man running the stand held his hand out. "Two?! The paint isn't even drawn on well! It's not worth two silver! At least five bronze coins at max, only because the craftsmanship is well. You tryin' to scam people out here, old man?" A late teen with bright red hair shouted and slouched onto Jun, looking at the doll in Haruhi's hand.
"Why you- Get outa here kid!" The merchant yelled, snatching the doll out of Haruhi's grip.
"I'm just telling the truth. It looks like a five-year-old painted that." Kasanoda gave the man a blank look.
"Let's just go. We have to be back at the castle before lunch or else Yui-san is going to be mad." Haruhi took Jun's hand and dragged him towards the path leading to the castle.
"Geez, Haruhi, chill. We'll be fine. Right, Jun-senpai?" Kasanoda asked, leaning against Jun once again. Jun shrugged him off and shook his head. He pointed to the castle then the sun. "See? Jun-senpai agrees with me." Haruhi crossed her arms and rolled her eyes at the red-haired idiot.
"You guys are so uptight," Kasanoda dropped his shoulders in boredom. "You should hurry. You have to finish planting the tulips before Master Tamaki notices a row missing. He's surprisingly attentive to his garden of flowers." Haruhi reminded him.
"Ah, shit. You're right..." Kasanoda groaned and kicked a rock on the path. "I guess I'll go on ahead, he loves to walk around the garden after lunch. Bye!" Kasanoda waved and ran ahead. Haruhi and Jun waved back before both of them continued walking peacefully.
Kasanoda worked as a gardener in the estate with his vast knowledge of caring for different kinds of flowers. Haruhi and Jun worked in the kitchen, both sometimes help Yui tidy around the castle when lunch or dinner wasn't being made.
They reached the castle and were met by guards, who recognized them and let them enter. Haruhi and Jun bowed and walked through the entrance and entered the courtyard. They were immediately being met with Tamaki's dog, Antoinette, who was energetic as always.
Jun reached down and patted her silky and smooth fur. A perk of being a palace pet is that her coat gets constantly groomed throughout the day. Antoinette nuzzled against Jun's hand and gave a loud bark, probably asking to be scratched or petted elsewhere.
"Haruhi! Jun!" Yui came rushing out of the estate, a dirty rag draped over her shoulder. "The princes requested lunch early! You have to hurry to the kitchen!" Yui pushed them into the castle to the large kitchen. The kitchen was bustling with energy more than usual, most likely because of the change in schedule. "Haruhi! Get the food served, stat! Jun get started on the cakes! Prince Hani doesn't like to wait for his desserts."
