"Hey, Junnie... Wake up. You have to get to school." Kawamoto Yui, Jun's older sister.

Jun made a noise similar to a whine and sat up in his futon. Yui smiled at her younger brother's bedhead. Leaning on the door frame, she sipped her coffee. "Come on, get up. I have to get you to school then go to work," Yui said and walked closer to Jun, crouching down to his level before taking her free hand and ruffling Jun's hair, making it even messier than it was.

Letting out a silent groan, Jun immediately tried to pry his sister's hand off his head. Laughing, Yui pulled her hand away and stood in a standing position.

"I won't be able to pick you up today, so you're going to have to walk home or take a bus. I'm working overtime, probably until late evening. Okay?" Yui said, her eyes glancing at her brother before looking towards his digital alarm clock. It was only 6 AM, enough time to make breakfast and get ready. Jun nodded and rubbed his eyes before yawning and standing up. Yui then proceeded to head to the kitchen to make breakfast.

His eyes wandered to the window, hearing the chirping of annoying birds and the bustling sound of cars and people outside despite the early time. Jun walked over to his electric piano and slowly dragged his fingers across the cool keys. They were cold to touch, yet Jun felt an overwhelming emotion of relaxation, and he released a deep breath. Jun turned the piano on.

Letting a small smile adorn his face, he quickly sat down on the stool and lightly pressed the black and white keys. The beautiful sound of Für Elise danced across the room, it's a classic made by the god of composing, Beethoven himself. There are a lot of composers that pulled Jun's heartstrings, but Beethoven was such a classic that he has to be at the top. Jun managed to memorize the entire song, from the first note to the last. He loved this piece. It reminded him of so many past memories in his childhood, good and bad ones.

Only playing a part of the song, Jun then got up and turned the piano off. He grabbed his clothes and walked towards the bathroom.

After ten minutes, Jun came walking out of the bathroom wearing a light pink sweater (which wasn't ideal for the warm weather outside but fashion comes before comfort) with a white button-up underneath and black dress pants. Heading into his room, Jun grabbed his rose-gold-rimmed circle glasses and slowly slid them on his face before walking into the kitchen. Seeing his sister wearing a form-fitting suit with an apron on made him snicker at how funny she looked.

Yui turned around to face her little brother. "What's so funny, huh?" She said with an agitated tone, but Jun knew better to know that she wasn't actually mad. Jun shook his head and smiled in response. Her apron was blue with a golden retriever cartoon dancing in the center.

Walking over to their small table in their living room, (Chabudai, a short-legged table used in traditional Japanese homes that can be easily stored and used for studying or eating purposes) since they didn't have a dining table, Yui placed two bowls of rice down and two pairs of chopsticks. Carrying the two bowls of miso soup, Jun walked slowly towards the small table, trying not to drop the hot bowls. Both then walked back into the kitchen to grab the rolled omelette (Tamagoyaki, Japanese omelette, made by rolling together many layers of egg), pickled vegetables, grilled fish, and miso for seasoning (It's basically a traditional Japanese breakfast, but with a few left out side-dishes)

Sitting down at the table, Jun looked around the living room. He needs to clean it up later. It was a mess, from the papers and files on the ground to the violin and huge bass in the corner. Yui walked back into the living room, pat Jun's head, and sat down.

"Itadakimasu!" Yui said and Jun just bowed his head. They both grabbed their chopsticks and began to eat their meal.

(A polite saying before eating in Japan, meaning "Let's eat" or "Thank you for this meal" or just saying thanks to the person who prepared the food)
