Silence fell over the small group at Rex's exclamation. Sabine looked absolutely flabbergasted, and no one could blame her. I mean come on, Rex was her dad???! It was shocking yet no one thought the clone was lying.

"Your...daughter...?" Sabine asked faintly. Then suddenly, her eyes began to roll back in her head. Ahsoka exclaimed,

"Someone catch her she's gonna faint!" Before the word "faint" could pass her lips, Sabine was already falling. Ezra caught her, and looked down at her worriedly.

"Come on, lets get her in a bed in the medical wing, with some oxygen just in case." Kanan grabbed Sabine's legs while Ezra grabbed her upper body and carried her to the medical bay. As they walked Rex looked at Ahsoka guilty like.

"I didn't mean to make her faint. Maybe it was too much for her. Maybe I shouldn't have told her at all." His eyes were downcast and he sighed. Ahsoka shook her head and put her hand on Rex's shoulder.

"No, Rex. You did the right thing. She needs to know these things. It's just a big announcement. It'll take some getting used to." The clone looked up at her and she smiled reassuringly back. The guilty look faded and his face hardened.

"Right. Thank you, Commander." Ahsoka looked straight ahead and responded,

"Anytime Rex."

The group rounded a corner, and stopped in front of a pair of sliding doors. The doors parted and they walked inside. Ezra and Kanan were directed to a bed by a medical droid and set Sabine gently down on it. The droid assessed her and said she should wake up within the next 15 minutes. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and took a seat in the chairs near her bed.

10 minutes later, Sabine's eyes opened and she sat up with a groan.

"What hit me...?" She whispered. Then she looked up. "Wait. Why am I in the med bay? What happened to me?" The mandalorian panicked and began frantically patting herself up and down in search for injuries. Ezra chuckled and grabbed her wrists to stop her.

"Nothing bad happened. You just fainted." Sabine looked back at him confused.

"Fainted? Why would I...?" She trailed off as her eyes widened considerably. She turned to look at Ezra. "He was joking right? I'm not actually his......daughter, right?"

"Yes, you are." All heads turned to see Rex standing at the other end of the bed, smiling at her. "I understand this is a lot to take in, and I probably shouldn't have told you so quickly. If you wish for me to keep my distance while you figure things out then I will-" Rex was cut short as Sabine leaped to the other end of the bed and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. Everyone, including Rex, stared at her in surprise.

"Thank you, for telling me." Sabine whispered into the crook of Rex's neck. The shocked look faded and he smiled and hugged her back. They pulled away and she looked at the clone.

"True, this is going to take some time to get my head wrapped around it, but I don't want you to stay away. It'll be good for the both of us. Ya know, like bonding time." She smiled at him and he returned it.

"Ya know, I knew when I met her that that aim of hers had to be genetic. You don't get that good with just practice." Sabine laughed and started to get out of bed.

"Now I know it is."
