Chapter 6: Kagamine Birthday bash

Miku's Pov:

Alright, today's the Kagamine twin's birthday! I can't wait to give them their gifts! I'm sure that they'll enjoy them! I went into the living room to drop my or of the corners. presents for them, then sit down. A while later, everyone went downstairs. Len and Rin started opening their presents. Len opened some of his presents, His reactions were a scale of hype to pretending to enjoy it. Then he got to Fukase's presents. When he opened it, he tried to pretend that he's pretending to enjoy it but it's pretty obvious that he likes them.

Rin also started opening presents, She likes a lot of the presents, Even Fukase's. They both seem to like their presents so far. The Kagamines opened my presents at the same time. Their faces sparkled with hype, "Thanks for the flag, Meeks, I've always wanted one" Len loudly shouted. After Len and Rin were done opening presents, They put their presents in their rooms. Fukase look's eyes seemed to be full of satisfaction.

Then we made a bump from Len's room...He might be having trouble putting up the flag. I wondered to help Len, not knowing that Fukase is following me. When I reached his room, I knocked on his door. "Who is it?" the yellow-haired boy asked while shouting, "It's me, Miku" I replied. "Ah, come in, Miku-chan" he followed up. I entered the door to see his trying to put up his trans flag...Only to fell. I went to help him out. After many attempts of helping Len, there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" Asked Len, again. Fukase's voice was behind the door, "It's me, the imfamous memelord".

Len sighed, "Come in..." Witch Fukase did, slamming the door open. "What's up?" the red-haired boy asked. He then noticed the flag hanging from one of the corners.

Fukase's pov:

Wow, that just looks sad. Not to bully Len or anything, but wow-- The trans flag is legit hanging on one of its corners that could fall off at any moment. "dang" I simply said, "Just dang." Len snapped back with a "Are you gonna help or what?" "Woah, Woah, You didn't ask me to help--" I replied quickly. after a back and forth, I ended up having to help them. After some trial and error, we managed to get all the corners of the flag up. That's where I've noticed all the stuff from precure I've got him, not just from this year but by every year since displayed. So Leno is a closeted precure fan.

After that, we just chill. I then noticed a yellow bear plush that has a sun on its belly on his bead. I think it's called a carebear? "I didn't know you're into care bears, Len." I thought out loud. "Oh, Yea...The carebear on my Bed is named Funshine, by the way!" the yellowed haired boy replied. Funshine bear... Isn't that the one who was a female in the original run but was reworked to be a boy in the 2000s onward? I guess that's why Rin gave him that one. Then again, maybe she didn't get him the plush, maybe he got it by himself or something? I gotta know. "Hey len, Did Rin got you the Funshine bear plush or did you--" "I... got it by myself. Funshine's always been my favorite bear, even after they made him a boy." by cutting me off, he admitted to that. "infact, seeing him as a boy makes me love him more...considering that I'm trans myself" huh, Funshine bear is Len's favourite ey? Note to self: Next time, Get Len a giant Funshine bear plush for his birthday or Christmas.

Miku chimed in, "My favorite has to be wish bear, She's so pretty and I love her ability to make everyone's wishes come true." That would explain the giant Wish bear plush in her room. She then scratched her head, "I kinda wish I can do that with my singing not gonna lie." then the two of them stared at me. "Hey, Fukase, What's your favorite carebear, or Bears?" Meeks innocently asked, Len, chimed in "It doesn't have to be a Care bear, it can be a care bear cousin." as much as I am embarrassed to say it, I let it out. "Don't make fun of me but...I kinda like Cheer bear and Tenderheart bear. I always liked those two since I was a kid." I feel my cheeks getting red. "I also liked brave heart Lion to be honest" shit, here's come my first-hand embarrassment--

Len and Miku seem happy surprisingly "That's so cool!" the ladder said. There was silence from Len before he decided to say something "That makes a lot of sense" at first, to be frank, I was confused. What the fuck did he mean? then I realised that in the 2007 show, Funshine and Tenderheart seemed to have a friendly rivalry...Kinda not far off from what mine and Len's relationship could be called now-- The two cyptonoids seem to talk about carebears a lot until it's time to short out the care for him and his sister.

Miku's pov:

When we were called to do the cake, we didn't realise how long we were talking about care bears for. We went down, Len holding his Funshine bear plushie, and the Kagamines blew out the candles. After that we got cake, I, Len, Rin and Fukase talked about Carebears until my amazing Gf, Gumi joined in. Turns out her favourite has to be Oopsy bear, The carebear that was introduced in the 2007 series. Rin seems to be a carebear fanatic, She just so happens to have a lot of carebears, let alone watched all the episodes of the cartoons and all the movies. It's safe to say that most of our little group was surprised.

Overall, it's safe to say that Kagamine's birthday was one of the best for them. Sure, there wasn't any party but they got to talk about care bears when people think that it's a "Kid's thing" with people who watched it when they were younger. But hey, I'm not sure if that's what they think but it was a fun day anyway. I went off to bed and dose off to sleep.

Okay, so uhm...wow, I haven't updated this for a long time--

to be honest, I somehow ended up in the Carebears rabbit hole...Hints why the chapter went from "Len's b-day, He's trying to hang up his trans flag but needs help from Miku and Fukase" to "Vocaloids talk about care bears.". Also, Len's favourite carebear is Funshine...I'm not suttle about believing that Funshine is an unofficial trans rep, huh--
