Dreams Come True

Prologue

"Hey, Guys. I just had an idea." I said to my best friends. We were watching Newsies for the eighth time in a row that night.

"Yea?" Kayleigh asked putting her long brown hair up in a ponytail

"What if we contacted like I don't know Andrew or Ben or like one of the guys from Broadway and asked em if after toursies is done they could do like one weekend of the original Broadway cast and then the next weekend the Broadway cast that has like Corey and then in it." I asked as I played with my bangs

"Ha! That would never happen!" Tori said with a small laugh

"No I mean really think about it. If we got like a whole bunch of signatures from Fansies everywhere in time and arrange the casts' schedules we might be able to do it." I said getting more excited

"Yea but like what about Kara and the others that are in other Broadway shows right now?"

"We get a swing or an understudy to play their part. Duh." I rolled my eyes as she punched me playfully

"Ya but what if they think it's a stupid idea."

"Then they think it's a stupid idea." I shrugged

"Fine. But how do we contact them. I mean really we live in Cali. They are all in New York." Kayleigh said pursing her lips.

"Hmmmmm..... Maybe we could tweet em."

"Ehh....what about Facebook? Or like find their address out and send it to them."

"Ha! No that'd be creepy!"

"Ooh! I know we could send a letter to Kara at the Gershwin theater!" Tori said excitedly

"That might actually work."

"What are you doin?" She asked as I went onto my phone and went on the Wicked website

"Looking up how to send her a letter" I said as I clicked on the Broadway FAQs

"Umm. There it is." Kayleigh pointed to 'how do I send a letter to the cast'

"Here it is!" I said pointing to the address

New York, NY 10019. We just have to fill this out!" I said loudly

"Okay okay. Shhh. it's 4 in the morning I don't wanna wake my brother up." Tori said.

"Okay. Do you wanna write it in pen or on the computer?" I whispered

"Umm how bout we write it on the computer and sign at the bottom. It'll look more official." Kayleigh said

"Okay let's begiiiin." I said signing the last part of Watch What Happens as They both laughed and shushed me.

'Dear Ms. Kara Lindsay,
We are huge fansies and we wanted to compliment you on your performances during newsies. You are our role-model. But we were thinking the other day about Newsies. What if we got all the casts together after toursies and had like a two weekend show, one for original, one for the closing cast. Do you think that this would be successful?

"Is that good enough?" I asked bitting my lip

"Yea I think so."

"Okay here sign your names ." I said taking the copy out of the printer and handing Tori a pen.

"There I'll go get the envelope and stamps." She said creeping out of the room.

I signed my name after Kayleigh and Tori came back in with an envelope with a stamp on it

"Here you write the addresses you have better hand writing." I said as she nodded.

"There done! Now we just have to mail it in the morning and wait for a reply!" She said as she put the letter on her bedside table.
