Rory's Crazy Life.

It was lucky that Tristan had become Rory's friend, when a few months later, in the first winter snow his phone rang.

It was the hospital looking for Finn, Rory had been in an accident, the number in her file for Finn wasn't working, and all Rory's contacts were coded.

Tristan gave them Finn's number, then made his way to the hospital, he knew it would soon be overrun with members, everyone loved Rory.

If someone needed help, she was the first one to offer, someone wanted a buddy for something, Rory was there.

In the last few months she had taken cooking classes with Rosemary, gotten her motorbike license with Gary, and was going to a weekend class for mechanics with Seth.

He also knew that Finn would need the support of everyone to not break down, Tristan had never seen a couple so devoted to each other like Finn and Rory.

They thought about each other in everything the did, Rory wouldn't even buy a new rug without making sure Finn liked it.

Finn dragged Rory to six different car dealers, to make sure she liked his new car, he ended up just getting the newest escalade.

They also stood together in everything, Rory's mom tried to start trouble, and Finn was by her side ready to defend her if she needed it.

Logan tried to drag Finn into a risky prank, and Rory was there to point out the risks, Finn stayed home and Logan ended up in jail.

It was amazing to watch as Finn stalked into the hospital, Robert and Seth flanking him.

In minutes he had every scrap of information he could get on Rory, aparently another car had slid out on the icy road and into Rory's car.

The other driver had called emergency and had talked to the police, Rory was a bit banged up, but other than a broken leg she would be fine.

Everything had calmed down and everyone was settled, waiting for Rory to be wheeled into a room overnight, until Emily Gilmore entered the hospital.

The panic she caused in the staff was extreme, she had three different people in tears before Finn could get her attention.

Then the LDB started trickling in, mostly to check up on Rory, and Finn, but soon it became a betting pool.

How many more people would cry because of Emily, how long it would be until they could see Rory, if the other driver would survive if Finn met them, how long until Steph and Tristan got together.

The only time Emily stopped the bets was when she placed her own bet on when Logan would get arrested again.

Finn was just sitting near the entrance to the waiting room and was the first person up when the doctor entered the room.

Everyone heard the latest update, Rory was in a private room, leg in a cast, scrapes all covered and cleaned, she was fine, only in overnight to make sure nothing was wrong.

Finn and Emily were taken to her room and the others played rock, paper, scissors to determine the visiting order, Colin and Seth won first visit.

The group had visited and left, leaving behind a tired Rory, a worried Finn and an angry Emily.

Robert and Juliet were on their way to Rory's to get her and Finn a few things for the morning, Tristan had decided to join them not wanting to return to his dorm room.

Emily had grit her teeth and called both Richard and Trix, and told them what had happened, Trix sent her love and care, and Richard was instantly talking insurance about the car.

It was a surprise when an hour later Richard was sitting next to Rory in her room, no insurance talk, just comfort, as always the elder Gilmores connected over their love for Rory.

By lunch the next day the doctors had finally agreed to release Rory, and Finn had been given a list of care instructions.

It took the nurses all of two seconds to know that letting Finn touch the wheelchair was a bad idea, so it was a nurse who wheeled Rory to Finn's car and watched as Finn carefully lifted Rory into the front seat.

Their homecoming was entirely different, loud noise, party hats, glitter, and a group of excited friends, all scheduled in the roster, so Rory would never be alone while in the cast.

It was Tristan and Finn with Rory the day the Stars Hollow group arrived, Sookie with cookies, Michele with a pair of fancy slippers, Lane with new music, Luke with coffee, and Jess with a pile of new books, including the subsect, by Jess himself.

Tristan watched as Rory, Jess and Lane geeked out over the music and then Rory and Jess nerding together over the books.

Finn just relaxed and watched, talking to Luke as Sookie clanged around the kitchen and Michele looked at their decor items and asked for some artist information.

It took Tristan a few minutes to realise that Jess and Rory had dated, and for him to realise that Finn was so confident  in his relationship with Rory that he honestly didn't care they were so friendly.

Then Lane stole Rory for a girl chat in the bedroom and Tristan met Jess properly, and quickly figured out why Finn was so relaxed about Jess, the guy was clearly in love with someone named Sam.

When the two girls came back down, Sookie quickly showed Rory where she had put the food, and how to heat it, then in a swirl of hugs and kisses Sookie and Michele left.

The other three left not long after, leaving behind an extremely happy Rory who was blasting a hep alien cd and reading the subsect.

Finn pulled out the game controllers and soon the two guys were racing each other in cars and trash talking.

Rory was so focused on her book she didn't even notice when their trash talk started to include the rudest swear words they could think of, and in Finn's case also in multiple languages.
