I took off running again, my heart pounding and my head swirling with anger and helplessness.
"God dammit, get her!!" One of the older guys yelled. I felt like I would collapse but I forced myself to keep running.
Panting and still running I say under my breath, "Sylah... I could go to her." But then again I get really nervous around her and wouldn't she wonder why I just showed up? I wouldn't want to panic her. I run past Sylah's house and look behind me. They are still chasing me. "God dammit" I think. "I need to lose them." I see the school but there's a fence blocking my way. I only had one shot. As I got closer to fence I filled with panic. Will I make it? Will my clothes get stuck on the fence making it to where I can't keep running? My mind was so mixed with emotions that I forgot what was happening and I slammed into the fence and collapsed to the ground where the rest of my energy I had slowly drained out of me. I roll onto my side and see two of the four people chasing me, getting closer.
"Hey fag, finally give up?" The older brown haired boy stepped towards me.
"Thomas, I-" his friend was standing next to him.
"Shut up." Thomas smirks glaring at me. I get on my hands and knees trying to force myself to stand but I suddenly feel a blow to my side making me fall back down. "You trying to run away?" He delivered more kicks to my side and head. I cough repeatedly and wince with each blow trying to stay conscious. I use what's left of my energy and punch at his legs, trying to ward off the attack but it doesn't seem to work. It made him angrier and he pulled back his leg and slammed his foot into my side. A cracking noise filled the air and I yelped with pain. Coughing, black splotches start to fill my vision. I'm slowly losing consciousness, but I can't give up yet. I reach my hand out but then a blow comes to my head and everything goes black.
