The portal closed, dropping amy and sonic without warning.
Sonic landed head first while amy landed perfectly.
".....ow...."sonic said though it came out muffled him still head first in the ground.
"Where....are....we....?"amys words echoed throughout the forest, sending birds flying to different directions.
"Little ....help here....?" Sonic said but turned into a question.
Meanwhile, amy let her curiosity get the best of her.
"Fine....i'll get up by myself..."sonic groaned, putting his hands in push-up position and stood up.
Amy stared at the place where they had came from, slowly touching it with her index finger, while sonic just stared.
After a few seconds her finger came in contact, but instead of crossing what looked like thin air, it stopped sending off a spark.
"Ow!" She screamed backing up.
Sonic blinked twice" what the-?"
"We seem to be in some kind of force field...."

At eggman's lair
"Ho!ho!ho! Marvelous! Theres no way they'll get out! Now without the blue rat i can take over the worl-"
"Um...sir?" Orbot said
"Yes?"eggman said through gritting teeth.
"There seems to be a little tiny , tiny, problem. The both hedgehogs can be freed with ....a true love's kiss" orbot said wincing , expecting pain.
"Say what?" Eggman said a bit startled.
"True ..... loves...kiss..."cubot said as if he was from the moon.
"I know what he said!!"eggman yelled pounding his fist in the table.
There was an awkard silence.
"Ho!ho!ho!"
"He...he..he." cubot began laughing once the laughing stopped, " why are we laughing?"
Eggman turned around his eyes darted to a semi circle in the table.
"Theres no way that hedgehog will kiss her! He doesnt even like her! Theyre doomed!!" He continued his evil laugh.

Meanwhile with sonic and amy
Amy sat down in a rock nearby, sonic being the stubborn he is was spin dashing toward the force field again and again and agai-
"Its no use! Just give up already!" Amy yelled at him
Amy stood up and made her way across the tall grass.
"Ames?"sonic asked worried
"This is no time for games!"he said panniking.
"Come on slowpoke!"amy yelled up ahead.
"Who you calling slowpoke?"sonic asked now at his side.
"Who else?" Amy said giving him a warm smile.
Sonic looked up at the sky, it was getting a bit dark, not letting amy see his blush.
"Amy we have to find-"he was inturrupted by amys light snores.
"Amy?"
After a few minuted of watching out he fell asleep.
"Dont worry .... ill protect you ames"he muttered in his sleep
