From a distance Yerin's ears caught the bickering of two men as the sounds simply grew closer. She rolled her eyes as they sat down, each on one side of her.

"I'm telling you, if I see you sneaking my snacks once more I'm not gonna just be lashing out on you!"

It was safe to say that the sudden outburst of the usually calm Hoseok left Yerin surprised for the least. With partially wide eyes she turned to face the dramatically fuming man.

"Hyung, are you supposed to look intimidating?" Jeongguk laughed, munching on something she recognised as one of those chocolate treats with vanilla fillings.

"Jeon Jeongguk!"

"Guys!" Yerin butted in trying to stop the possible fight from breaking out, "Let's try to be civil atleast during office hours, please?"

"As you wish baby." Jeongguk let out sickeningly sweet and Yerin found herself shaking her head as Hoseok just tried to hold in the urge to puke.

"I'd really like it if you act your age for once," She sighed out exhausted at having to deal with chaotic two. Usually she had Hyeri to help her out but since she had an important client meeting she seemed busy the whole day, "Both of you."

Jeongguk and Hoseok simply potrayed cheeky smiles never once feeling bad about possibly disturbing the girl when she would be in the midst of completing something.

When she clearly was.

Atleast before the two came in.

"Anyways you heard about the christmas eve party this weekend?" Hoseok asked as he rested his back completely against the chair.

"Yeah.." Yerin answered distantly as she focused on settling up the documents before Yoongi comes to ask for it.

"Well you guys will have to pretty much be glued to each other since Sara is gonna be their too." He said again and if not Yerin but Jeongguk surely did listen attentively.

"And so is everyone." Jeongguk stated keeping away the pack of snacks, "What I mean is I knew about that."

"So like do we need matching costumes or something?" Yerin joked smiling when Hoseok chuckled.

"That'll be weird."

"Yup."

"Wait why would it be weird?" Jeongguk tried to protest as he looked over at the two of them, "If anything wearing matching clothes is definitely going to pass the message around."

"You're considering the idea?" Yerin chuckled lightly but stopped when Jeongguk didn't seem to catch on the joke he simply remained stern throughout.

"Wait you're serious?"

Jeongguk nodded causing Hoseok and Yerin to share surprised looks."Isn't it like too highschool?"

"Our whole contract is pretty much highschool, what do you expect?" He teased causing her to grow flustered, "And besides Sara has always liked this matching outfits and all those supposedly cute things couples do, so having her see me doing the same with you will probably make her jealous."

Yerin nodded pretty much satisfied with the observation and honestly she was certain that having Sara see them doing which she used to do with Jeongguk is most probably gonna leave her disturbed.

"Whatever, we can wear the same colour maybe."

"Come on you've been on that thing for so long!" Jeongguk whined out his protest as Yerin let out a absent-minded hum still focused on typing in the files in the laptop.

She felt her heart jump in her throat, a sudden wave of panic overflowing her senses when the device holding her hardwork from the past one hour was swiftly moved away from her sight. Afraid Jeongguk might press a button that might possibly delete everything she let her eyes remain on the laptop gingerly.

"Let me just finish that last title and we can go eat since apparently you're too hungry!" Yerin said, almost cautious as Jeongguk let out a satisfied smile.

Pulling his arms closer to the desk he placed the laptop back on its place as he nodded.

"Ten minutes." He declared leaning in to press a gentle kiss on her lips and Yerin was left completely flustered. She froze, heart thumping in her chest as Jeongguk leaned back on his chair arms coming to cross behind his head.

"Time starts now babygirl." He smirked as she hastily tried to get hold of herself and focus on the work.

Exhausted and completely drained after the long meeting Hyeri sighed out as she dragged herself out of the room. Feet already paining as a result of wearing heels and having to stand the whole time as she presented her ideas for the upcoming projects.

Lamely bringing a hand to cup the back of her neck she groaned lightly when feeling the stiff muscles under her touch.

A hand in front of her face, however, stopped her legs from walking further. She found a packaged cup of warm coffee and she trailed her eyes towards the face of the person.

Hoseok.

Suddenly almost all of her stress felt like it left her body. Mind whirring in soft melodies of pure happiness.

She didn't realise how much she had actually fallen for the man but seeing him everyday just proved the point nevertheless. But he probably didn't even like her and only saw her as a friend, or worse just an acquaintance whom he knows because his best friend is fake dating her best friend.

She smiled, "What a pleasant surprise!"

"Seems like I possibly can't really stay without seeing you for long." Hoseok mused out grinning when seeing a spark of pink spread around her cheeks.

He's just playing around. Don't think of it much.

"Well guess you'll have to get used to it." She nervously chuckled out politely taking the coffee he held as the two made way towards her cabin.

Hoseok visibly frowned at that as he spoke again, "I'll just find ways to see you."

It was supposed to be a joke but Hoseok found himself feeling the genuiness behind his words. He always wanted to pass the message to her about how attracted and invested he was to her but could never do it, since he has never been the one to outwardly convey his feelings.

It just felt like a stuck up situation for either of them.
