Chapter One

Notes: I almost turned this into a Yumi x Vinny fanfiction, I got too carried away in the first part. I love those two. They are second in my Windbreaker ship. Of course, Shelly and Jay are my ULTI! I decided to write tons of non-canon ships because I want to write all my Jay x Everyone imagination. Idk it just feels like I want to give everyone a chance to be with Jay coz Jay and Shelly ARE CANON! I'm telling you, even if they still haven't confessed to each other. THEY ARE MEANT TO BE. OWEN I KNOW YOU LOVE SHELLY SINCE YOU GUYS WERE STILL KIDS BUT YOU SEE, YOU CAN HAVE PINK HAIRED GIRL Y'ALL CUTE, YOUR HEIGHT DIFFERENCE IS A ✨chef kiss✨. Don't hurt yourself too much man, I know Shelly is something only Jay can have. EVEN I WANT A SHELLY skskksks. (Excuse my gay ass). So I'm not writing any fan fiction about the canon pairings as the main characters because they are already is dating in the original, give'em a break.

WinTEA, MighTEA is a cafe located in town rivaling other cafes in the busy street near Seoul University. The name wasn't catchy, rather it's ridiculous that it didn't click to the customer during the opening. Rumor says that the cafe was supposed to close two months after they officially opened due to bankruptcy however a miracle happened and now it was the most popular cafe in their area, especially for girls.

The reason is because of the new employees and owner of the shop.

"Vinny, I have a question" Yumi, a regular customer of the cafe is sitting at the counter, the spot she had claimed as hers. Her short hair bobs as she takes a sip of her ice americano.

"What is it?" The red hair asks nonchalantly. He is the barista and the new owner of the cafe despite him being a college student taking a major course in Liberal Arts. His heterochromatic eyes glance at the wall clock. He still has one hour before it gets busy in the shop.

"You're the owner now, but why are you not changing the name of your café?"

"What's wrong with the name?" He asks. He doesn't think the name was bad, besides the one who named it was his late uncle. His uncle doesn't have a wife or kids to hand over the cafe. So he gave it to Vinny's mom, currently, his mom needs to be confined in the hospital so he was left to take care of the cafe.

"No offense, but it sounds bad" Vinny just shrugs his shoulder as he welcomes another customer.

Yumi sighs watching her crush do his work. He's hot, she thought.  Vinny Hong is a fictional character that came to life. When Yumi first met him at the university, she thought she finally transmigrate in a Twilight book. Turns out, Vinny has albinism and his heterochromatic eyes and red hair are the cause of it. Not only that, but he looks like a handsome bad boy finally turning into a new leaf wearing that standard barista uniform, a white polo, and black slacks plus a coffee-colored apron. She doesn't even enjoy coffee that much, but it pays off seeing Vinny works.

He's a complete package, in her opinion. Handsome, he goes to Seoul University, he owns a cafe so he's rich, part of the famous cycling team Hummingbird (tho she hasn't been to his competition YET. If only she met Vinny earlier) and probably single (she's not sure about this one, but she has never seen him with anyone intimately and none of his friends mention anyone about it). Her mom will approve of Vinny Hong.

"Hey, if you keep staring at our boss, you might as well order another drink" Sung interrupts, giving her that stupid grin of his as he wiggles his eyebrows. Yumi glares at him before grabbing the menu he's offering.

"Why do you even like Vinny that much?" Sung curiously asks in a low voice, hands holding a pen and paper which the raven-haired girl finds stupid because she's sitting right across the counter or whatever she doesn't understand how cafe works.
