The engine of the train weired down to a stop and the break flicked on.
The monotone fake voice called across the carriage. They had reached stop 3.
(Weired is a sound similar to a buzz)
---They still had to get to stop 7. nothing should go wrong this late at night, no one will be out for their own good. Unless it wasn't a 'someone', in that case they were both dead.
Not to question Shinso's power he'd just be considered an outlaw now, someone who broke away from his soul existence. It's a surprise the universe didn't collapse and fold in. Unless these boys meeting was already sealed in fate before they had even been born. might have been over 100 years if we count the fact Shinso mostly has immortality.
The door slid open. Kaminari had never been paid that much attention whether the doors open every stop or only when someone is waiting there, he also wasn't out this late a lot. he looked over to Shinso who has tensed up next to him. They made eye contact
"Are you good?" Kaminari murmured thinking it would fit the situation. Shinsou stiffly shook his head.
"Act normal," He said trying to calm himself.
"Please explain what's going on., Kaminari said, still keeping a low tone.
"You know how humans are bound by fear of demons?" Rhetorical question obviously., "I stay at the train tracks a lot and see trains all throughout the night. They normally wait for a few moments with the doors shut before leaving so nothing gets on unless someone is waiting to get on the train," Shinso briefly explained to Kaminari in a fast, low voice. So, someone else was going to get on since they opened the doors, not a problem.
"What's the issue with that?" Kaminari asked trying to see the issue.
"Have you seen my head lately?" Shinso answered with another question. "Not to mention ..." he mumbled the last part. the other boy tilted his head to the side a fraction.
"I didn't catch the last part," he said. Shinso sighed.
"That was the plan," he mumbled to the boy next to him.Shinso reached over Kaminari's shoulders and let his hand move down his arm to his upper waist.
"Demons used the trains as well" He whispered into Kami's ear. "I want you to stay calm. If it is another demon, don't react. Act like you've been around them for hundreds of years, as if you were a demon yourself," he said pulled Kaminari close to him as a hooded figure board the train in their carriage. The tension was so thick you could cut the air with a blunt knife. The figure pulled a hood off to reveal 2 horns that were probably longer than Shinso's but were looped tightly to their head. to make it appear as if they were less than what they were. Short straight blonde hair. He looked pale and shocked. Staring right at Shinso who also looked shocked.
The figure unbuttoned his cloak at his neck and ran up to Shinso. He lifted his cloak up into the air and it fluttered onto the sitting boy's shoulders.
"It's yours remember?" A crooked smile crept onto his face. Shinso's protective hold on Kaminai dropped as the potential threat was nothing close to what they had expected."N-Neito?" Shinso asked in shock. He was scared that he'd just flick out of a trance and the boy in front of him might disappear.
The train doors closed.
"The one and only. Of course it's me Hitoshi, or should I say, no, it's obviously Aizawa," He joked. Kaminari had no clue what was going on.
The boy supposedly called "Neito" stepped back and sat on a seat across from where the others had been seated.
"And that's a human? How cute. I can only assume that your curse has been lifted?" He asked looking over at Shinso."Where have you been all this time?" Shinso asked looking broken, he was almost in tears and his voice was shakey.
"Here and there, looking out for anyone who needed it, like when we'd play superhero's but this time in the real world," He laughed to himself kicked his legs out and crossing them over putting his arms behind his head.
"Would either of you care to explain?" Kaminari asked. Apparently, these demon's knew each other but he had no clue what was going on beyond that. "Aw you poor thing," Neito said. The only mortal there rolled his eyes in frustration.
"Little Hitoshi over there," Neto nodded to Shinso, "Gave me his cape the night I was freed. We were best friends and were hanging out that evening. It might have been around 1965. Anyway, I've been wondering where he has been for a while and here he is, obsessing over a mortal," He laughed at his own words."I still don't understand," Kaminari said. Shinso gave a hefty sigh.
"Neito, I was only freed less than 10 minutes ago," He said. The look on Monoma's face changed extremely fast to shock.
"Oh," He said as he let it settle into his head. "So that's not your human," He paused. "Or the other way around in a way," He laughed a bit.
"I- er what?! No, no, no. We don't know anything about each other, it's not like that Neito, gross." Shinso pulled his shoe off in a hurry and threw it at the other demon.
"Alrighty, I'll take your word for it," Neito said his smile dimming."I do have an important question." He uncrossed his legs and leaned over to the other side of the carriage. there was about half a meter between Kaminair and Neito's faces. "Unless, just like you, your family doesn't care about demons, what going to happen to you?" It was a very serious and relevant question.
There was a vast silence cast across the space as if it wasn't already quite enough. Everyone had different thoughts on what would happen although Shinso was extremely uncomfortable with what was going on as he felt like he had caused this issue.
Kaminari prepared himself to talk.
"My mum would kick me out," he mumbled. As Kami spoke quietly it didn't seem to affect Monoma.
"Expected," he tacked into the conversation nonchalantly. "Well, be safe," He said standing up. "I'll take Hitoshi with me and we can pretend this didn't happen." He reached his hand to Shinso. "It's so late and such a bizarre thing to happen that your brain should just make this memory appear like a dream in your mind after a week," He added with a chuckle. Hesitantly, Shinso reached out to hold Monoma's hand as he stood up to get off as the train neared the next stop. They had missed stop 4 chatting so it was now station 5.The trains breaks were enabled as a squeak of the action, crossed the interior of the whole train.
"What?" Kaminari asked. Neito turned on the ball of his foot in one swift motion.
"I considered that you don't want to be kicked out and have to change your lifestyle so I'll be taking Hitoshi with me now," He said with a pleasant face. Shinso had his eye's locked to the ground as if there were something far more interesting on the ground. The doors had roughly slip open awaiting the demon's on their exit. Kaminiri was so conflicted he wanted to follow them out but at the same time, he'd just love to pretend this didn't happen.
Monoma's height dropped as he stepped out onto the platform, still holding onto Shinso's hand. He pulled him along behind him as they were both off the platform.
