Kaminari drew in a shaky breath, he had just freed a demon of all thing he could have done on his way home.

They had taken a seat on the side facing chair and had now settled into an award silence. They were both busting with questions but couldn't come to words without making the situation over complicated.

"I think I should properly introduce myself," Kaminari was the first to speak even if it was more of an ice breaker question, it was exactly what was needed to make both of the boys comfortable.
"My full name is Denki Kaminari, I'm a second-year student at UA high and I'm 17 years old," He gave a shy smile at the end. He knows it's dumb to give your full name to a stranger but Shinso was kind of stuck with him now and it would just be cruel for them to part now on both halfs.

"Your name fits," Shinso said with a pause. "It flows," he clarified to stop any misconceptions on what he'd said. Kaminari gave a gentle smile and moved forward to lean his elbows on his knees as he sat on the train. "My full name is Hitoshi Shinso," He said to keep the conversation on the same topic or simply to keep it alive. "It is pretty crooked sounding compared to other names I've heard," Shinsou said slightly embarrassed about how harsh his name sounds.
"It sounds fine," Kaminari said but intruding thoughts started to mix with his voice. There was a demon he just freed sitting next to him. He doesn't even know how old he is or why he was a demon in the first place and but was expecting himself to be calm about the whole situation.

The worst thought of all was how his mum was going to take the whole situation. She was a police officer, their main job is to stop crime and infourse the law, demons are considered the gravest violation. A lot of the time, demons are banished from humanity and told that they have to go back to their own realm.

No one would want to be around the crippling society by choice, no one knows why they come here unless they want to eat humans but wouldn't you just take on and run. It n]mad no scene to say around ar risk being caught.

Kaminari's sudden silence was starting to scare Shinso of what he could be thinking. He tensed up and clenched his fists in fear. Shinsou was still was a demon just a free one now who could abandon his ways but the knowledge that he never wanted to be harmful for all the time he was ereeked him.

It was more of an instinct that Kaminari had broken. He felt indebted to him now. "If it's bad for me to be here I understand," Shinso said looking at the floor.
"No, it's just, er-," Kaminari stopped before he got to his point. He leaned back towards the train seat a little more but not slouched into it. "See, I'm only 17 and never believed in demons, now I've met you and I don't understand, it's all too much at once."

Shinso made eye contact with him.
"You're right the least I can give you is an explanation," he drew in a shaky breath, before starting. "I was born a demon in a horrible family, I was unwanted or objectified by everyone since I was in the small 10% who has the chance to be freed from the rules and possession that determine how a demon behaves and acts. It's like a calling demons have to follow and I have the opportunity to break it... I don't want to open up about too much  since I don't really know you, It doesn't feel right." He said. Shinso knows he should, this person before him had saved his whole fate but they'd just met.

Kaminari understood he wouldn't want to open up to someone he'd just met no matter what the situation was. He fully knew that Shinso could have a really dark and messed up past since he did say his family wasn't that great. Thoughts flooded back to Kaminari once again. The world fears demons and here he is breaking the curse the held one to its cruel ways.

The train slowed at its stop, it was 1 of the 9 Kaminari had to travel. It was only about 5 minutes into their journey and it was going to be very awkward, to say the least.

Shinsou was still sitting uncomfortable next to the boy he had just been aquatinted with. He had his own fears as well. He wasn't worried about leaving home but he was worried about who he left behind. His family were never particularly kind to him but he was worth a lot of money down in his realm. If he were sold he would bring a good price to be someone's pet. Knowing this, if his family needed money they could hunt him down and sell him off. It was all overthinking, he's free now, he doesn't have to follow the demon law but his family doesn't see it that way.

The second stop pulled up. They had spent the past 5 minutes in silence.

It was unsettling. The train driver had an extra layer of protection since train tracks are the homing beacon for where demons can cross over between the realms but the doors still open up for each carriage, meaning that anyone or anything can get on any of the carriages.

There were only 2 carriages, it was late at night, no one with any scene would be out this late but it wouldn't be that uncommon for 1 person to make a mistake of not travelling on time, such as Kaminari.

Kaminari sat back in his chair relaxing a little and the accomplishment rolled over him. he had just freed the highest feared creatures in this world he didn't need to be stressed for a while, he could be calm.

"So, I've been wondering," Kaminari said brining the conversation back to their travel. Shinsou looked towards him from the window he had fixated on. "What do demons do most of the time?" If you had the chance to chat with a demon you would too, what can you lose besides your soul? Not that Kaminari wasn't already dead inside from his school day. Shinso had to pause to think of an answer.
"I can't go out in the light with horns," he said.
"What do you mean?" Kaminari asked him.
"Your horns grow when you're old enough, until then you can pass as a normal person," he said thinking about it a little more.
"So what stops you from going into the sun?" Kaminari questioned once again.
"I don't know. never tried it. the older demons tell their kids that stuff to stop them from leaving and most will never try it being overwhelmed by all the what ifs."

The engine of the train weered down to a stop and the break flicked on.
The monotone fake voice called across the carriage.

They had reached stop 3.
