Oh, thank God Bucky is here. He's the only one that can handle Steve at his worst. That's what he says, anyway.

I was worried Steve might stay a little aggressive after what he did to Tony, but he just sat back down on the floor next to Dodger and waited for whatever might come.

After a while, Bucky appeared and rushed down the hall all the way to Steve. I noticed he was armed. Some people came behind him and took Tony; I figured they were from the sick bay.

"Jerry, you can open the floor now."

"Floor opened."

"Hey, buddy, I'm glad you're back alright, I saw what had happened at the mission, and oh my, you almost died!" Bucky said to Steve and laughed. Steve didn't move.

"Look, I know you're upset and you want to see her and talk to her, but give her some time. It must be a shock for her, too, to see you here after... you know." Steve looked at him and I could imagine the expression on his face – desperate, eyes silently begging for help.

"You know I'll have to take you to a cell after what you did to Tony... Man, you broke his arm!" Bucky laughed nervously. Steve just stood up followed by Dodger and let Bucky take him downstairs.

As they were approaching the elevator, they almost bumped into my cousin Peter who just opened the door. He looked at them all confused, he didn't know what was happening or why. I don't know where he was originally going, but after what he saw, he immediately ran to my door.

"Al, it's me, can I go in?" he asked through the communicator and I let him in. He was nervously waiting for me in the ante-room.

"What was that about? When did Steve come back? He looked devastated," he asked me the moment I appeared at the door.

"Steve probably came today. He had been camping at my door since around ten. It appears he wanted to talk to me, but, of course, I didn't let him. After an hour or so I called Tony and asked him to get Steve away. He came and Steve got angry because of some stuff Tony said and broke his arm. So I called Bucky, he came, and because of this incident, he had to take Steve to a cell," I explained.

"Are you okay? I mean... seeing him after what had happened..."

"I'm fine, Jerry played me some music and it got me in a better mood I dare say," I said and chuckled lightly.

"So you and him... nothing? You have lost all feelings for him whatsoever?" Peter asked warily, trying not to hurt me in any way.

"Yes. I have forgiven him for what he had done and that's it. I don't care about him anymore. But... I still don't have the strength to talk to him. His arrival was so sudden, he appeared out of the blue. If I am to talk to him, I must prepare."

Peter looked relieved and happy that I was okay.

I looked at the clock. It was five-to-twelve, which meant it was almost lunchtime.

"We should get going. Come on, Livay," I said and we left the apartment.

"Prisoners don't eat with us, do they?" Peter asked on our way to the canteen.

"Normal prisoners don't, but who knows about Steve? All in all, he is an Avenger."

We arrived at the canteen. It was a small room with three tables. My mom and Bucky – not armed anymore – were sitting at one of them and talking passionately. We took our food and sat next to them.

"Hey guys," my mom said with a smile on her face.

"Hey," I replied. Good for her, she looked like she didn't know that Steve was here. I didn't want her to worry about me.
