I was dead

Tony's POV

I see them, my team, infront of my, almost dead, body. I look up to see Pepper, tears in her eyes.

I did it.. I sacrificed myself to keep my family, my friends, Peter.. safe.

Third POV

"He's back! Get the pain medications quickly!.."

"Please, Tony, dear, please don't go.."

"dad, is he.. is he gonna be alright?.."

"He's waking up, be careful, don't stress him..."

Tony's eyes fluttered open. He was met with a dim light, and three people around him. A nurse, Strange and Peter.

Wait, Strange and Peter?

Tony sat up, quickly regretting that as throbing pained sheared down from his gut. "Dad! Calm down, your alright, we're here." Peter held Stark's arm, lowering him back so he was laying down.

Tony looked at the two male's beside him, confusion written on his face.

"Strange?" Tony muttered, still staring at the two. "Yes, Tony?" The sorcerer replied, with a concerned look. "I was dead, I was dying, I saved the universe. I thought, the Infinity stones, I wiped out Thanos's army, I was dead-" Tony's rambling got cut off by a pair of lips on his. "The pain meds are really getting to you."

Tony stared at the man in what looked like.. confusion? "it's not the pain meds, Strange, I'm being serious." The man said, seriousness in his voice. "Also. you.. kissed me?" Stephen looked at Tony with a look of confusion. "Tony, we've been married for 4 years." The sorcerer lifted up his shaking hand to show a gold ring, the same ring on Tony's hand.

Tony glared at the man for a second. "We're....married?" Stephen nodded. "And Peter, he's our.." "kid, yes, adopted, we adopted him a year after we started dating." The wizard pulled Peter into a side hug. The teenager smiled up at his dad.

"What year is it?" Tony blurted out suddenly, looking at the two.

"It's 2024, why?" Peter looked at his father, in concern.

"It was...2019.. I remember... you and Peter dusted away, you were gone, Natasha sacrificed herself to bring half of humanity back.. I saved the whole universe from disappearing.. I.. sacrificed myself to keep you and Pete safe...." Tony rambled on.

"Dad, awnser these questions, okay?" Peter sat down in the chair beside the hospital bed. Tony nodded.

"Name?"

"Anthony Edward Stark."

"Age?"

"49."

"Dad.... your 32.."

Tony's eyes widened, so did Stephen's. "Where's Pepper?" Tony slowly sat up, looking around the hospital room. "She's talking to the doctors who brought you back." Peter replied, quietly. "Brough me back? I was dead. The power from the Infinity stones killed me, I remember... my right side burnt to a crisp. I remember... you, Peter, telling me that we won.. I had a wife and daughter..."

A few hours later, when Tony was able to go back to the tower.

Peter was swinging from the ceiling in a web hammock, Stephen was helping Tony get to the living room's sofa. "So.. tell me what's going on, like, in the team." Tony asked, wincing when he sat down with Stephen's help. "We have a few new team members, the Rogues are still out there somewhere, after the issue with the Accords. The new team members are DareDevil, Matt Murdock. Deadpool, Wade Wilson. Mysterio, Quentin Beck. Blackbird, Jaiden Bosko and a few others."
