"Oh hi!"

That is what Karen said to me when I walked into hers and Lucas' house the morning of my wedding day. I just wanted to go by and talk to her about the wedding dress that Brooke had made for me, since she had ended up making me a new one out of the material that she was going to be using for Karen's dress, and I just wanted to make sure that she was fine with me wearing it.

"Hey."

"Hey! So how is the bride-to-be again?" She questioned me, and I smiled bright at her.

"Oh, I'm really good." I told her and she smiled back at me.

"Well, I'm afraid you've missed the boys, they were gone pretty early." Karen said.

So basically, I had Nathan stay at her house the night before because I wanted it to be really romantic, and wait to see each other until the ceremony. When I was in my dress and he was all done up in his tux.

"Oh, that's okay. I actually came to see you. I have a question for you." I said, playing around with my locket. I was a little nervous to bring up the topic with her considering she was finally back in a better place, after losing Keith, and I knew how hard that was for her.

"Okay."

"I know you and Keith were engaged, and it breaks my heart...-" I trailed off as tears started to fill my eyes, and Karen rubbed my arms a little. It still hurts because Karen and Keith had a love that was really true and prue, and they had finally gotten to be with each but he was ripped from the world to soon.

"I know, I know."

"Sorry, okay. Brooke...-Brooke made me this amazing dress and it is out of the material that she ordered for your wedding dress, and I just wanted to come and ask you if it was okay if I wore it...-and if it's not, that's absolutely fine, because she made another one that I can wear...-" She cut me off on my rambling.

"...-I'm so proud of you, Brielle. Have I told you that lately?" Karen asked me, and then tears started rolling down my cheeks. I never got to hear those kinds of things from my parents, ever, they were always to busy for any of us. So it meant everything to me to hear Karen say those words to me.

"You have got a wonderful soul Brielle Davis-Scott, and you are going to make a beautiful bride in that dress." She told me, and I smiled through my tears as the two of us hugged each other.

"Oh, thank you. Thank you so much!"
