I opened up the front door to mine and Nathan's apartment, as he struggles past the front door and I noticed that there was a notice sign on the door which Nathan only gives a quick glance too. It read, 'NOTICE TO PAY RENT OR QUIET.' I knew that Nathan told me to go back home, but I knew if I didn't I would have been to worried about Nathan to do anything else. So, I decided to return home. Nathan wasn't letting me see our daughter either which I understood, so I didn't push him on the matter. It's what I deserved after what I did.

And much much worse.

I ripped the notice off of the door and slowly followed after Nathan, as he made his way over to the island. "Welcome home." I mumbled to him, as I placed the notice onto the island whilst he seat down on a stool, and all he did was glance as me before looking away again.

Nathan let out a loud groan as he picked up his mail, that was sat down in front of him on the island. "Bill...-bill...-final notice. Way final notice. You ever robbed a bank?" He asked, glancing up at me and I couldn't help the small laugh that escape my lips which caused Nathan to smile at me, before he quickly let it away the smile.

"Hey, we do have friends that will help us out. Besides, we had a little money saved up before I left." I told him, as I set his bag from the hospital onto the floor and he looked at me with a blank expression on his face.

"Yeah, that sounds great. All I need is money for these bills and, uh...-a hundred thousand dollars to pay the hospital." Nathan sarcastically said to me, and I rolled my eyes at him slightly.

"Wow, it would have probably been a lot cheaper if you just, you know...-hit the brakes, huh?" I jokingly asked him, but he was having any of it. He let out a scoff as he looked back down at the bills in his hands, trying to avoid eye contact with me. "What happened out there, Nathan?" Nathan didn't say anything to me and just continued to look down at the bills. "Look, did you...-you know, feel like...-I mean, did you want to...-" Nathan cut me off.

"Did I want to do what, Brielle?"

"Kill yourself." I said slightly snapping at him, as I looked him right in the eyes. And before I spoke again I took a deep breath to calm myself, so I didn't snap at him again. "Because if that's want happened out there, then we should really talk about it, Nate."

"Yeah I'm good, I'll check out Dr. Phil this afternoon." Nathan joked, and I rolled my eyes at him. I couldn't believe that he seriously wanted to make jokes out of the situation.

"How long are you going to dodge talking to me about this, Nathan?" I asked raising my voice at him. I cared about Nathan more than anything, besides Paige, and if he was really thinking about taking his own life then if was something that we had to talk about.
