Chapter 1- Forgive and Forget

Tears stung my eyes and I finally broke down. The tears cascaded down my flushed cheeks as I watched his unsure movements. How could he do this to me? How could he cheat on me with that tramp? I must have accidentaly spoken my mind outloud because he answered my question.

"Look, Jaymee I didn't mean to cheat on you with Beth it just kind of..happened i-it was an accident I swear!"

He reached out grab my hands but I quickly yanked them away from his grasp.

"An accident?! No Tyler, falling off of your bike because you went over a pothole is an accident, not tripping and falling into her V-jay! We're DONE TYLER!" I screamed at him, pure anger and sadness exploding out of me. I couldn't take it. I should have KNOWN this is what he has been doing! All those nights he blew me off for "Basketball practice" when we both knew he didn't play Basketball anymore! I should have seen the signs! I took a step back, fumbling over my feet and I ran. Ran from Tyler and his lying words that were always cursed with lies. He yelled after me but I continued on, not looking back at my mistakes. Soon I could hear footsteps slapping the concrete behind me. Why did he have to make things so difficult? Taking my keys out of my pocket, I clicked the unlock button and swung open the driver side door. After starting the car I shut the door and locked it, tears still falling and I drove off as fast as I could. I looked into my rear view mirror to see Tyler, standing there cursing and yelling for me to get my ass back there. A scoff escaped my mouth and I smirked. For some reason..I felt better, like a giant weight was lifted off of my shoulders and thrown away. Worry free I thought. Nothing can hold me back now.
