"when will you come back home? i really miss you, daddy..." changbin's voice sounds small over the phone and the look he gives hyunjin through the screen is so helpless, hyunjin's heart hurts watching him. he misses his baby so much, seeing him like that just makes things worse.
hyunjin sighs sadly then and brushes his finger over his laptop's screen, right at changbin's image. "not yet, love. i'm sorry, hm? daddy is trying his best to go home soon but things are... hard." he gives his best smile, trying to comfort changbin a bit.
"but i want daddy hyunnie back now! i- i miss you so much, daddy!" changbin pouts sadly, his eyes shining full of tears, and hyunjin dies a little at the sight. he misses his little baby so fucking much. he really can't wait to go back home.
