since one of little changbin's biggest fears is heavy rain at night, neither minho or seungmin gets surprised when chan appears at the living room with a sobbing binnie in his arms, the rain's sound barely covering his crying.
"can one of you get him some warm milk, please? guess it will make him sleep again..." chan mumbles tiredly as minho takes changbin from his arms, the little curling up against minho's chest while sighing shakily.
"why are you crying so much, hm?" minho kisses changbin's forehead, rocking him gently in a attempt to comfort him "no need to, baby. daddies are here to protect you. you're safe, yeah?".
seungmin comes back after a few minutes with changbin's sippy cup full of warm banana flavored milk 一 changbin's favorite 一. he sits on the couch then and minho puts changbin on his lap so he can feed him properly.
they spend the next few minutes sothering changbin with lullabies, kisses and gentle touches, the three of them trying their best to calm him down, and in no time changbin is sleeping again, all cute and cuddly.
peaceful, as he should always be.
