ch 6 It's not just a bolder! Its a rock!

Eren had failed. Once he had turned he immediately attacked Mikasa and she tried to talk to him but just ended in knocking himself out. Rico meanwhile was prepared for this exact situation as she prepared to shoot her smoke signal

Rico: We failed. It was foolish to pin our hopes on something we didn't fully understand

Holding her arm up, and covering her ears, she shoots the red flare, signaling failure. The people up in the wall look in fear and several of them getting ready to call it quits. But not all of them lost hope

G. Soldier: Commander. I recommend we revert back to defending the gate. Just give the word

Pixis: Denied

G. Soldier²: Sir. Shall I order a retreat?

Pixis: Absolutely not. Continue luring the enemy to the edge of tow. The elite team is well-helmed. They have leave to make their own decisions. We proceed as planned. This was an all or nothing proposition. But we are in position to fight to our very last breath. It's humanities debt. It's what we owe to the fallen

Meanwhile back with the team. The two Garrison soldiers were trying to convince Ian, the one in charge, to leave but he wasn't budging. As one of them goes to leave Mikasa goes to attack him but is stopped by Ian

Ian: Stop! Easy, now's not the time. Team Rico, take out the 12-meter approaching from behind. Team Mitabi and I will take care of the two runners up front

Rico: Are you nuts?!

Ian: In case you forgot I'm the one in charge. Now do as you're told, soldier. We are not leaving Jaeger defenseless, period. Change of plans. Our job is now to keep the others off him until her recovers

Mikasa: We should get (Y/N) help!

Rico: Who?

Mikasa: (Y/N) Zoro! He's a swordsman with immense strength

Rico: I doubt a swordsman would be of any help

On que a loud boom was heard coming across the district. They look over and see a titan getting cut in half and being launched in the air at the same time. Then, in a blur, a man jumps and cuts the head, along with the nape, off the titan. The three of the soldiers stare in disbelief due to a man launching a titan in the air

Mikasa: That's (Y/N), he's our best bet at protecting Eren

Ian: Right. Rico go and get (Y/N)

Rico: This is only gonna get us killed!

She followed orders and jumped off the building and zooms over to (Y/N). In a matter of minutes Rico makes it to the other side of the district while killing some titans on the way. She lands on a building and is shocked at the amount of destruction one man caused

Buildings with large slash marks, some on the brink of collapse, and several burning corpses around the district. And amongst the burning bodies a single bandana wearing swordsman walks away from them with blood evaporating from his clothes

She jumps down and lands right in front of him and when she does she finally noticed what he had in his mouth. The third sword. If she didn't just see him single handedly destroy a titan she would've thought he was crazy

Rico: (Y/N) Zoro?

(Y/N): Yeah? What do you want shorty

Rico: You little shi- We need your assistance with protecting the titan boy

(Y/N): Titan boy? I didn't know titans aged?

Rico: No you idiot! Eren Yeager, a cadet, has the ability to turn into a titan
