No matter what I can't keep up it seems
As if I'm on a journey all through hell
So why would I be going to extremes?
So why embark if nothing's here to tell
Me of my reasons for adventuring,
For leaving my own comfortable hearth
For taking leave to bring me here, starving
Myself of warm and pleasant things of heart.
So here I am, not lost, but in the wood
And angry I must journey more, but not
From whence I came, just on, as Dante could
Through his Inferno, footprints on this spot.
No matter what, I can't keep up it seems.
No matter though, time keeps up and redeems.
