zenitsu wakes up unexpecting this sudden sound, it was a bright morning, and the sun shone right through the blondes window and greedily lighted up everything that it could reach, today was going to be the first day at his new school. he had to make sure he looked his best, he didnt want the other students to have a bad impression of him on the first day. he was secretly hoping to see some especially cute boys today because he gave up on girls a long time ago and realised he was gay, but the one thing stopping him from asking loads of dudes out was his courage, whenever he saw a cute guy, he would be dying to talk to them but him being a usual coward, he never managed to speak to any of them.

{TANJIRO POV}

i woke up unaware of the time, SHEESH ITS 7:15 ALREADY FAM IMMA BE LATE IF I DONT HURRY UP. my school is very strict. theres going to be a new student today in my class and i already feel bad for them for picking this school out of all of the schools around here, sure this school had the best grades, but there were too much unneccessary rules, like, sit up in class at all times or go to the principals office and stay there for half a day sitting up straight.

*sigh*

tanjiros mother: "ARE YOU COMING OR NOT?"

tanjiro: "YES ILL BE THERE IN A MINUTE."

i hastily got dressed  and rushed down the stairs, eating my breakfast within minutes, i hugged my mother and exited the house with the glimmering sun shining on my face. i felt warm and relaxed, a feeling which i havent felt in days.

[ZENITSU POV}

the gates to the school were huge, it was like a mansion that had been designed into a school. there were students rushing everywhere, and my eyes widened when i saw the bag check security system, there were sensors, dozens of teachers checking students bags, it was like an airport, my old school was nothing like this! 

a boy made my eyes instinctively flick over to his direction, i blushed to see that he had burgundy hair and shining ruby red eyes but what made me blush the most was the way he smiled at me when he saw that i was staring at him, i uneasily smiled back

at last i was made to look away when it was my turn for the bag check, but the the boy was now flooding over my mind.

{TANJIRO POV}

a boy with blond hair and golden eyes was staring at my way, i hadnt seen him before, so i supposed he was the new kid, i smiled at him and i saw a tint of pink appearing on his cheeks, he seems nice though ill go and talk to him as soon as the bag check is over

after the bag check i ran over to him, he was really easy to spot because his blond hair was lighted up by the sun making it like a spotlight

tanjiro: hey!

boy: h-hi

tanjiro: im tanjiro, whats your name?

boy: uh- im zenitsu

zenitsu huh? why does that name give me memories, ive never met him before, i shook it off and started a conversation with him, we were laughing and talking, until we had to part ways for our classes
