by lunchtime, zenitsu and tanjiro already felt like they knew each other for years. they were laughing nonstop, crying and they had stomach pains from laughing so hard.
tanjiro: want to come to my house?
zenitsu: sure! ill just text gramps about it
another boy who acted like a boar decides to come over and preps for a fight(kinda like bakugo)

today is the day that im going to confess to tanjiro about my feelings! i asked to meet up in our favourite place but my heart told me not to go... it was just a feeling after all, nevertheless, i ignored that feeling and went out the door, every one of our friends knew except tanjiro, and i took a final glance at my phone with all the good luck messages

i switched off my phone and put it into my pocket whilst holding flowers in the other

i dropped the flowers, i had heard the entire conversation

ahh! he was so stupid to think he had a chance with tanjiro, loads of girls liked him, why would he choose a cowardly guy over them? he ran off with tears streaming down his face. when he got back he closed the door and slid down on it, i quickly pulled out my phone and shakily typed:
'sorry! something popped up, i have to cancel plans at last minute!'
i closed his eyes and tears splashed all over my phone. he shouldve listened to his heart. i walked over to my bed and splattered myself on it, i was too tired to change. a message notification popped up on his screen

'bestie' we were just bestfriends werent we, nothing more. how stupid i was to think that their relationship could advance.
