Skateboards and Guitars

The First Day

It was the first day back at school and the first day of 7th grade for Nala and Lia. Lia was new and had just met Nala at the skatepark. They had become best friends. They had many things  in common like skateboarding, falling a lot, always getting hurt, and much more.
But the thing they mostly had in common was that they both had crushes on boys in the boyband, The Rocks. Nala had a crush on Steve and Lia had a crush on Syd. The other one in the band was Newt. Steve played the guitar, Syd played the bass, and Newt was the lead singer. Syd and Steve were backup singers too.
Now back to Nala and Lia. It was their first day of 8th grade and they were ner ous especially Lia. Nala was nervous because she got bad grades last year and her teachers hate her and Lia was nervous because she was new to the school.
They both had the same first period, french. Their french teachers name was Ms. Toussaint. She was quite strict but can be nice sometimes. Since it was the first day it was juat a review on what they did last year and Lia was freaking out because she wasn't here last year. But she did ok on it.
The next period they split up Nala had math and Lia had English. The math teacher was Mr. Smith who was very nice and the english teacher Mrs. Bryant was also nice. Lia just had to do a review on english and Nala was doing a math review.
Most of the classes were review since it was the first day. They each had five period 2 seperate and 3 together. Nala was the one that is smart but doesn't get the best grades but she was getting better and Lia got pretty good grades but some of the work she didn't get because she wasn't here last year. Now on with the story.
The third period was about to start so they sprinted to chemistry because the teacher, Ms. Lynch is super strict. They thankfully got there on time. The project that day was pretty easyit was just elephant toothpaste which they do every first day. Nala and Lia were partners (i know not very suprising) and they did a perfect job the assignment, they got and A+.
The next period was their last period together and it was spanish. Their teacher was decent this time he was in between pretty nice but can yell sometimes. His name was Mr. Pérez.
The next period was seperate and it was English for Nala and math for Lia. They were the same teachers the other had when they had the period.
The last period was also seperate and it was band for Nala and orchestra for Lia. The teacher were Mrs. F in band who was nice and in orchestra Mr. Heinz he was kinda mean.
After school they went to the skate park they talked about school and how they wonderd what classes were tomorrow because that day was an A day and tomorrow is a B day. They also talked about how they saw the boy band in the hallway and how they had crushes on them. Nala has a locker across from Lia and next to Steve, who she has a crush on and Lia's locker was across from Nala and next to Syd, who she had a crush on. The other one in the band whos the lead sing is Newt but they don't have a crush on him. They had a lot of fun.
