"it's just like what y/n said. okay? the witch wants you dead, so...we kill you and then just like this C. Berman bitch, we bring you back to life." Deena says.
"what are you saying?" Kate asks.
"fuck it. I'm dying tonight one way or another. just try to bring me back" Sam says.
"guys come on let's go!" Deena yells. We all climb off the tables and we run to the window. Deena opens the window. "Simon, you first you can help everyone down"
"yeah okay" He says and he jumps out the window. He lines himself up with the window so he can help.

"okay" Josh gets in the window frame. "bro move I need to jump down"
"no I'll catch you" Simon says.
"I can just jump, move"

"just go!" I yell. Simon moves and Josh jumps.
"okay Sam now you," Deena says and Sam nods. Sam gets in the window frame then jumps down. Simon and Josh catch her. "Kate you now"
"okay," She says getting in the window. "drop me, and you're dead" She jumps and Josh and Simon catch her.
"Deena you go now" I say.
"okay" She jumps out the window and the boys catch her. I look back and I see Nightwing is very close to getting in here.
"y/n come on!" Simon yells and I look down at him.

"don't do anything with your power just come on" I nod and I go into the window sill. I jump down and just Simon catches me because the rest of the group has already started running.
"okay let's go" He puts me down and we start running. We get into the ambulance and Simon shuts the back doors. "let's Timothy this bitch" Kate starts driving.

"a few months ago, my brother Timothy had an unfortunate experience in which he ingested too much of a certain substance. he was dead for two minutes but..." He drums his hands on the counter. "we got him back!"
"Kate," Deena says. "it's time for your close-up" Kate nods and grabs the pill bottles making certain piles.
"you need to take these in order. pile one takes the edge off. you're gonna feel like you're being fucked by a unicorn. pile two is gonna bring your core temp way down. you may feel slightly sick. you need to take a five-minute interval between pile two and pile three. that's really important, okay? pile three brings you down and out, so you gotta take that take five or it's all gonna go to shit!"
"how many of these do we have?" Kate asks holding up EpiPens.
"tons. like thousands"
"wait. EpiPens?" Deena asks.
"epinephrine, also known as adrenaline! this is what brings her back. this is Jesus!"
"okay, let's kill Sam" I say and I put my hand on her shoulder. "Josh what's the plan"
"okay all the killers are going to go straight to Sam and then we're kinda screwed, so Sam you have to cut your hand again and we have to put her blood on all of us. we all need to take separate corners to keep them away from her. that's pretty much it then we bring Sam back and we act like this never happened" Josh explains.
"I think y/n should stay with Sam, she can protect her better." Kate says.
"not really I can slit their throats and by her ten extra seconds, I'm pretty much as normal as you guys in this case" I say.
"okay, let's just hurry" Deena says.
"here" I hand Sam my knife. She nods and cuts her hand. She squeezes her blood onto the counter. I dip my finger in her blood and I draw an x on my chest. Everyone does the same. Everyone starts hugging each other in case we all die or something. I hug Simon and he hugs me.
"I love you" Simon whispers in my ear. I pull away and I look up at him. I kiss him.
"I love you too" He kisses me back. Deena clears her throat and we turn around seeing everyone smirking.
"didn't I tell you" Kate says with the biggest smirk of them all.
"yeah" We hug each other.
"I'm so sorry I shouldn't have gotten mad"
"no I'm sorry I should've told you, you're my best friend" We pull away. Sam walks over to me.
"remember a half an hour ago when you wanted to murder me? you don't have to go this you can leave" Sam says.
"remember when you decided to sacrifice yourself for us? we're ending this together" I say.
"die well, my friend" Simon says, putting a hand on her shoulder. "we got back door patrol" Simon says to Josh.
"and I got the front door, let's get this over with" Josh and Simon start walking away.
"hey!" Kate walks over to Josh and kisses him. She walks away to her spot.
"hey!" Simon says mocking Kate. He kisses me. "remember we have a real date"
"I'll try my best to" I say with a smirk. I pull away from him and I walk away. I flick my knife open then closed repeatedly to keep my mind off what's happening. I notice all my nail polish is chipped. "God I gotta repaint my nails when this is over" I sit on the floor with my back against the checkout counter. I hear the door open then shut so I look behind me. Nothings there. I hear Deena scream so I get up. I run then I run into Simon. "Si, Si, you heard Deena right-" I look up and it's Nightwing.
