The first years' jujutsu sorcerers and their sensei, Satoru Gojo, were having a bad day. They had been lost in a forest while chasing after a special-grade curse.
"I knew it. I shouldn't have trusted you, Gojou-sensei", whined Fushiguro, staring at Gojo. Gojo Satoru looked away. Gojo carried an unconscious Itadori.
It was his fault they were stuck in that never-ending forest.
'C'mon don't blame sensei. It is our fault for not being able to defeat just one special grade', said Nobara, not wanting to put pressure on their dear sensei. Gojo nodded agreeing with what Nobara had said. 'Furthermore, it was you who pointed towards the forest. We should've just let the special grade go'.
Fushiguro thought about what happened at the time the special-grade appeared.
FLASHBACK --1 hour ago--
Itadori, Fushiguro and Nobara arrived on time for their first mission with Gojo-sensei and as expected Gojo hadn't arrived yet. The three students waited for 30 minutes before they started preparing to complete the mission by themselves.
"You sure he ditched us Fushiguro?", said Itadori, not wanting to believe it. He had the most faith in Gojo.
' I didn't say he won't come, he'll come but when we're in a pinch. He likes to play the hero, you know, Fushiguro knew Gojo the best out of the three.
'Let's just get started, I so want to go shopping, Nobara wasn't up for a small talk. Nobara hadn't finished talking when Fushiguro's facial expressions changed. Fear. It was written all over his face.
THE SPECIAL GRADE WAS BEHIND ITADORI YUUJI. The special grade knocked him down. Sukuna wasn't interested in fighting any special grade. He was only interested in Megumi's potential.
Fushiguro called out two of his shadows. They were instantly overpowered. In the meantime, Nobara had taken out her hammer and nails. As she was about to use her cursed energy the special grade was behind her and knocked her down as well.
Fushiguro was devastated. He was the only one left standing. He summoned the Toad and directed it to keep his friends safe. Fushiguro didn't know what to do. He kept on summoning the shadows, Nue and Kon, somehow he managed to hold the fight for 15 minutes. Nobara gained consciousness inside the toad and was trying to wake Itadori who was near her.
Nobara got out of the toad and saw Fushiguro beat up. She knew he wouldn't be able to put up for long. At that time, Gojo arrived.
"Gomen, gomen. I saw a sweet shop and stopped by", Gojo said trying. He knew it was a lame excuse but he loved teasing Fushiguro.
Fushiguro was at his limit. On seeing Gojou Satoru, the strongest sorcerer, the special grade ran for his life towards a forest.
'Where did he go, Megumi?', asked Gojo. Fushiguro pointed towards the forest. He called his shadows back. Gojo carried Itadori and shouted "Follow me, my dear students. Let's have some fun"
---BACK TO PRESENT---
Fushiguro closed in on Gojou. "Gojou-sensei, I'm sorry. Thinking about what happened, it's...It's my fault", said Fushiguro with guilt evident in his eyes.
"Megumi, did I teach you to be like this? You don't have to blame yourself. What am I here for? Besides, if I hadn't been late, this wouldn't have happened", Gojou said to Megumi in a soft voice.
"Arigat----", Fushiguro bumped into something.
"Sorry for not telling you that a person was lying over there. You bumped into him. Heheheh", Gojo informed. Gojo was still Gojo after all. The Jujutsu sorcerers closed in on the man lying down.
"He's got a mask on", Nobara informed.
"I can see that '', Gojo said, sounding sarcastically cute. The masked guy looked like he was similar in age to Gojo. He had silver hair and wore a headband, a flak jacket, dark blue pants, and a long-sleeve shirt.
"He's so hot", Nobara commented, which earned a long stare from Gojou.
