It was almost the end of the year and winter finally came. It was 7:00 in the morning and the just-risen sun shone softly on the city streets, bringing a flurry of early-morning activity. It was a very bright sunday morning and everyone was minding their own business in their cosy homes.
If we take a look at the Kim's family, the father, Kim Sungho, was sitting on the couch watching TV but his laziness took over and ended up sleeping on the couch, sound asleep. The mother, Kim Haneul, was in the kitchen making the breakfast to feed the kids and also an adult-kid who fell asleep moments earlier.
The younger brother, Kim Taehyung, was just chilling on his phone playing games while drinking his morning coffee. If we were to talk about the older daughter right now, Kim Y/n, she is still in dreamland catching the invisible stars.
Y/n could've been awake if she didn't keep snoozing the alarm on her phone one after another but her younger brother, a savior whenever she wakes up late, entered her room and poured a bottle of cold water on her.
Y/N became wide awake with the help of the coldness of the water and chased his brother downstairs until he hid behind their mother, still in the kitchen.
Their mother scolded the older sister, telling her not to chase his younger brother around the house to prevent getting tripped or bruises making the younger one stuck his tongue out to tease his older sister.

It's so unfair how the younger ones always get away with everything although they are the ones causing it.
"Why do you always scold me when I'm not the problem here? He dumped a bottle of water on me and now my bedsheets are wet!" You said with an annoyed expression on your face.
"Taehyung, you have to do something for your sister after this. I asked you to wake her up not to dump an arctic on her." Your mom said making you feel satisfied.
You turned to look at Taehyung and stick your tongue out and make a 'How does that feel?' look with your eyes while he rolled his and fold his arms over his chest.
"What do I have to do in return for the wet sheets?" He asked. You think for a while and a smile soon plastered on your face.
"Wash my bedsheets and my blankets by hand and I need them to be extra clean." You said and his mouth automatically open wide.
"No refusing, you started this now you have to end it." You said while moving your pointer finger horizontally referring as a no.
"This is so unfair!" He said stomping his feet and head to your room to start his work you requested earlier. Such a good moment to start the day because your bedsheets were also getting dirty as well.
"Oi wait. Can I dry it in the dryer? I have no strength to dry it myself." He said and put on his pleading look. You nodded and he jumped in excitement.
It wasn't because of his pleading eyes, you knew that it was hard to dry the bedsheets even by yourself so you made it a little easier for him because he is washing the bedsheets for you anyway.
You walk up to the counter and sit on the seat paired together with the countertop.
"Good morning my sunshine, did you sleep well?" Your mom turned to look at you and plate her golden pancakes mixed with berries and a swirl of whipped cream.
(I swear I wrote this before the berries and cream trend 😀)
"I had an amazing dream until that snitch ruined it." You said making her laugh. She set the plate in front of you and you look at it as if the pancakes are staring at you. It does because of the blueberries floating on the pancake.
Your mom was plating the other pancakes and put the toppings on them for your family members while she was humming to a song which she had always sang to get you to sleep peacefully in her arms.
You asked her to sing it out loud because you haven't heard her sang after she had Taehyung and she excitedly did what you asked. Her voice was very soothing and it still sounded exactly the same ever since you were younger, her voice haven't changed one bit and it never will.
After she was done plating them, she set them one by one on the countertop without looking back and it made her jump after she noticed her only daughter pigging like there's no tomorrow.
"Why are looking at me as if you have never seen me pig out?" You said, taking the last bite of the fruit remaining on the plate.
"Oh my daughter, try and eat it like everyone else, it's not like the food is going to run away. Don't take the bad habit from your father." Your mom said.
She pulled out some tissues and hand it to you to wipe your mouth. You wiped your lip normally but you ended up smudging the whipped cream all over your face because of your father's voice out of nowhere.
"Hey! I heard that!" Your father said, walking towards the both of us and took a seat next to me.
Your mom laughed quietly and she decided to tease him more by bringing up his old and bad habits. Your dad also wanted to tease your mom as well but thinking that she was still in the kitchen with a knife in hand, he took it back and started eating the pancake.
It was awfully quiet today but the sound of the birds chirping from the window made it very calming. You have always wanted to spend time outside and just relax in the cool breezing wind but your social anxiety have been getting worse lately and you can't risk stuttering when you are just asking the employees for some extra ketchup packets at Mcdonald's.
It's actually nerve-wrecking the more you think about it but who's dumb enough to consider about it? Yup that's you right there, overthinking 24/7.
(;-;)
After you were done eating your breakfast, you head to the living room and use your phone, scrolling through Instagram. You see a selfie of your ultimate favorite K-pop Idol and you accidently scream out of excitement.
"Keep the volume down. I just arrived and I already want to leave because of your loud screech welcoming me."
:)
