The Guy I Prayed For

as my phone rang..i got very excited and thought that it might be bhuvan's call
but it was Yashu's call

I picked it up and hit my head really hard..

"hello..shruti..tu ready ho gayi?"

"nahi ..par abhi 5 minute mein ho jaaungi kya hua?" ( I asked)

"main neeche khadi hoon..aaj saath mein college chalenge..." ( she said in a low tone)

"acha thike main aayi"

Saying this I quickly brushed my hair and took a rubber band...picked up my bag ,phone ,scooty keys and waved bye to my didis ..

"hii yashu" ( saying this I hugged her)

"hii frooti.. chale?" ( she was sounding very low)

"tujhe kya hua tu itni low kyu sound kar rahi hai?" ( I asked looking at her restless face)

"yaar main jab tak rishi se maafi nahi maangungi na tab tak..mujhe chain nahi milega.."

"chal ..college jaate hai pehle.." ( I said by starting my scooty)

She sat behind me...rested her chin on my shoulder and hugged me...

"yashu..tu itna kyu load le rahi hai...tune anjaane mein kiya na ..woh samaj jaayega..." ( I said)

She didn't reply anything..she just nodded her head

"bhuvan kal kyun aaya tha tere ghar?" ( she asked)

"milne aaye the.." ( I said with a faint smile)

"kya hua? Ab tera chehra kyun utra hua hai" ( she asked)

"kuch nahi yaar...bhuvan LA gaye hai...." ( I said)

"haayyeeee...bhuvan ke jaane se tere chehre ki smile bhi chali gayi..." ( she smirked and pulled my cheeks)

"chod na yaar..tu kya iss baat ko leke bait gayi..." ( I said)

we reached college and had 2 lectures continuously..
after our lectures ended...we had a 1 hour break

"yaar rishi kahi dikh nahi raha hai" ( yashu said looking here and there)

"haa yaar...kaise pata karee" ( I said )

"aeee fhruti..tere paas rishi ka number hoga na..cultural events mein tumlog saath mein participate karte ho na!!??" ( she asked )

"arey haa!!"  ( I said by hitting my head)

"rukh main use phone karti hoon" ( I dailed his number)

Rishi picked up the call

"hello..."

"hii shruti...college mein koi naya cultural event aaya hai kyaa?" ( rishi asked)

"nahi..par mujhe tumse kuch kaam tha.. tum kaha ho ??" (I asked looking at yashu and kept my phone on speaker)

"yaar main nahi aaya aaj college...mera mann nahi tha aaj.." ( hearing this yashu started to feel more guilty)

Yashu muted the call and said to me

"usko bol emergency hai..jaldi college aaye.. agar college nahi aana toh bahar ke café mein aaye"

I said the same thing to him and he replied

"acha thike tum mujhe college ke bahar waale café mein milo..main 10 minute mein aata hoon"

We went into the nearest café...

After almost 15 minutes

"hii shruti.." ( he came in)
