"Hey." Nayeon looked up and saw Jeongyeon peeking her head at the door. Her face immediately formed a smile.

"Come in." Jeongyeon entered Nayeon's office and sat at the chair in front of her desk, she placed a plastic bag on her desk.

"Here you go."

"Thank you, Jeongie." Nayeon spoke, she took out the tteokbokki out of the bag and started eating while Jeongyeon was watching her munch down the food.

"I have something for you." Jeongyeon said. She pulled her mask down and removed her cap.

"What is it?" Nayeon asked.

"You have to wait until you get home."

"Couldn't you just say it?"

"No! That will just ruin the surprise." Jeongyeon chuckled.

"Okay fine." She rolled her eyes and continued eating.

"Haven't you noticed something new about me?" Jeongyeon spoke. She looked at Jeongyeon for a few seconds before she realized that Jeongyeon cut her hair short again.

"Oh my god." Nayeon spoke making Jeongyeon laugh at her reaction.

"How do i look?"

"Very handsome. I could kiss you right now." Jeongyeon shook her head at Nayeon's remark.

"Why did you cut your hair?"

"So that I could still be that short haired person you liked." Jeongyeon was pertaining about what Nayeon wrote on her diary years ago.

"You'll always be that person, dumb ass." Jeongyeon's lips formed a smile.

"I need to go home, your surprise is waiting for you." Jeongyeon stood up and wore her cap.

"Okay, i'll see you later." Jeongyeon leaned closer to her face and placed a soft kiss in her lips before pulling her mask up.

"Bye, babe." Jeongyeon said before leaving her office.

Nayeon noticed that Jeongyeon became more sweet after they got married, the girl would always bring her food at her office even if she had a lot of schedules. She would always try to pick Nayeon up from work or she would always drive her to work. Nayeon also noticed that Jeongyeon became much more expressive about her feelings towards her.

time skip

Nayeon knocked at their unit's door, Jeongyeon immediately opened it and smiled at her.

"Why are you smiling?" Nayeon asked.

"Because my wife is already home, that's why."
Jeongyeon pulled her by the waist and leaned closer to her lips. Jeongyeon placed a gentle kiss against Nayeon's lips.

"I have to show you something." Jeongyeon pulled her inside the unit and closed the door behind her.

"Stay here." Jeongyeon spoke before going inside their bedroom. Nayeon stayed at her place while waiting for her wife to come back.

When Jeongyeon came back, she saw a small pomeranian in her arms with its tongue hangin out of its small snout. Its ears were pointed upwards and its fur were white but there were some specs of light gray.

"Oh my gosh, Jeongyeon." Jeongyeon giggled and handed the puppy to her.

"He's Kookue. Chaeng helped me name him."
Nayeon petted the head of the puppy.

"I...i got him because you said you wanted to have a kid, let's start with a dog first so that we can see if we can handle the responsibility." Jeongyeon spoke. Nayeon told Jeongyeon a few days ago that she wants a baby.

"Are you happy?" Jeongyeon asked. Nayeon nods and smiles at her.

"Of course i am." She leaned closer to Jeongyeon and kisses her cheek. "Thank you, love."

"I love you." Jeongyeon said out of nowhere which made Nayeon smile.

"I love you too, Jeong."

They both kept their promises to each other, Nayeon promised that she will marry Jeongyeon, while Jeongyeon promised that she will always wait for her. It took some time to fulfill their promises but it was worth the wait anyways.

Now, Nayeon is married to her first love, the person who made her realize that she likes girls. Jeongyeon married the girl who she always wanted to protect. They both had difficulties but it was nothing compare to the relationship they have now.

In the end of the day, Nayeon will always be Jeongyeon's home and Jeongyeon will always be the person that makes her complete.
