Home is where you find your rest
Home is where you feel your best..
It's what we bring and do
that mostly makes the difference.
I remembered when I was small,
my home was my castle.
Where I was the princess,
dad was the king and mom the queen.
We would play with crowns that
sparkle.
Home...
it's a place you feel at peace,
With warmth in heart
With smiles upon your face
Where you can do,
and act the way you want
and not be ashamed
It's warm, it's blissful, it's calming
And so many things more
when you have a place to call home.
It does not need luxurious things,
or fancy furnishings from Italy
to be called home for us
Home is were there's warmth,
where the sun shines in you
Where there is bonding,
Blood and heal in the deepest of your heart
and dear ones
Home is where you go
and welcomes you with warmth,
that fragrance you have love
or that home cooked meal in the oven,
the tv turned on,
maybe children running around
getting the carpet dirty again
and that warm welcome your family gives you
" How was your day?"
Were you can go
throw your worries away
and just forget about everything
Because you feel safe in the home you stay.
Home is all these wonderful things,
and so much more
Is the place you develop wings,
To opens life's door
Home sweet home
The place I dearly love
and will always care for.
