(This is not my AU/headcanon! This is a fanfiction version of @behrjbehr AU/headcanon on TikTok. If they are uncomfortable with this, I will take it down 💙)
Also, please don't get mad if I got some Autism Spectrum things wrong- I did my best to put some research into the disorder- if I messed some things up, kindly let me know
(COVER ART BY ME)

It was usually very quiet in the arctic where Techno lived with his friends Ranboo and Phil. Ranboo would go back and fourth from here to Snowchester where his son and husband lives, Phil liked to keep himself busy with shoveling the constant snow and making builds that were rarely ever completed, while Techno mostly hibernated, trained, or read his hundreds of books; all mostly about wars and Greek mythology.
Techno and Ranboo were both on the autism spectrum. A brain-development disorder that messes with your communication and behavior. The two often help each other whenever one is having an episode. The two haven't had one lately, which was enough to set Techno on edge. The pink-haired male got up from the comfortable, red satin couch, putting the book about Icarus away on the towering bookshelf where it belonged. He caught a glance through his window. Ranboo's figure was trudging past the wheat farm, not exactly holding himself up and formal like he normally does. Was he doing that strange sleepwalk thing again?
Techno leaned against the slightly dusty, wooden windowsill; keeping an eye on his hybrid friend. Usually when he's having this strange sleepwalk, Ranboo has an episode when he wakes up. Techno wanted to make sure all is good.
Ranboo eventually ended up disappearing from Techno's sight, having walked either to the nether portal or around the house. The Blood God sighed and put his tan sweater on over the grey loose-fitting shirt he wore. He also grabbed his red cape that was draped over the couch he'd been sitting on. Ranboo had appeared to only be wearing a orange button-up and white undershirt; he had to be freezing some bit. The half-enderman may have gotten a little used to the cold- but he wasn't completely immune. Techno didn't want the prince to get sick.
As he reached the large, dark, wooden door, there was a soft thud against the side of his house. Techno paused for a moment, calculating the thud. He was hopping it was Steve, but the thud was light. Steve was too big and heavy for that. Ranboo, despite his giant height, was bone-skinny and very light. Yet he was also pretty strong, surprisingly. The hybrid has surprised Techno and Phil many times with being able to pick up heavy things with ease. They always expect him to break, since he looked so fragile.
Shaking the thoughts out of his head, Techno opened the door and stepped out onto the porch that connected his and Phil's house. The cold, arctic air hit him hard; a wake-up slap to the face and body. It was very bright out, the sun was reflecting off of the snow- but not giving off any heat in the cold, cold place. The Blood God headed down the wooden steps, turning to see his half-enderman friend standing just next to Carl's stable. Ranboo was shaking, tears streaming down his black and white face, creating fresh, painful, burns and blisters that Techno would have to find the ointment for again. The hybrid was clicking his fist together, his long-pointed ears were pinned against his head. Techno scraped his top teeth against his tusk that jutted out from his bottom lip, carefully walking over to the prince.
"Hey." He said softly, holding out his hands. "Hey, are you alright?"
Ranboo took a moment, processing what Techno had said. His mouth opened and closed- not much noise coming out expect a scared warble. He stared off to the side, his fist still clicking together. "Okay, okay." Techno whispered, looking down at his friend's chest to avoid eye contact. The Blood God held up his hands, "hand here, Lethe." He said, using the Syndicate code name. Ranboo's breath hiccuped as he continued to cry, he hesitantly grabbed Techno's hand. The prince's hand was warm and soft, yet slightly leathery, as always.
The hybrid managed to start breathing normally again, a few tears still trinkled down his scared up cheeks. "Do you want to go inside?" Techno asked softly. The bright light from the sun reflecting off the snow was probably hell for the prince's eyes right now. Ranboo was silent for a minute, Techno patiently waited- it's best not to try and rush. The prince nodded with a sniffle. Techno turned slightly and lowered his hands, still holding Ranboo's as he helped walk his friend up the stairs. Steve came from behind the house and grumbled, following Techno and Ranboo into the house. The warmth from the fireplace in front of the couch was welcoming considering the freezing cold outside. The pink-haired male sat his friend on the couch, taking the cape he had draped over his arm and wrapping it around Ranboo. He flinched a little, taking a moment to process. Techno got up as his friend hesitantly pulled the cape closer around him, shivering from the cold. He went into the kitchen, grabbing a green kettle from the cabinet and filling it up with water. The male turned on the stovetop and set the kettle down, watching the blue flames begin to boil the water.
Steve, who'd been sitting by the door, padded into the kitchen with Techno, his long claws clicking the hardwood floor. Techno smiled at the large, white, bear; grabbing his face and smothering it. He kissed the bears forehead and let him go. "Go lay with Ranboo, Steve." He said, pulling out tea packets from the cabinet. Steve huffed in response and walked out of the kitchen. Techno watched him carefully climb onto the couch, setting his head on Ranboo's lap. The hybrid was staring at the fire as he slowly set a hand on the bears head and gently petted him. Techno smiled and pushed up his glasses. The kettle started screaming, telling the Blood God that the water was ready. He turned off the stove and pulled out two mugs, setting the tea packets into them. Techno took the kettle off the stove and poured water equally into each cup, watching the liquid turn brown as it mixed with the tea packet.
He stirred the beverage a little bit using the packet before walking out of the kitchen with both mugs in hand. Ranboo was fidgeting his bee earring with one hand while petting Steve with the other. Techno sat next to his friend, handing him the mugs with a rooster on it. Something one of Phil's crows found. Ranboo hesitantly grabbed the mug, not taking his eyes off of the fireplace. Techno set a hand on Ranboo's shoulder, the hybrid snapped his gaze off the fire and looked down at his tea. "Thank you" he muttered, taking a sip of the tea.
"Sure, kid." Techno responded, sipping his own.
The two sat and watched as snow began to fall outside, thankful for the peacefulness. After some time, they had fallen asleep against each other; Ranboo's gentle purr and Techno's soft snoring. Phil entered the house, kicking the snow off his boots and smiled at the duo. He draped a blanket over them and patted Steve's head, going down to the basement to work on another machine.

Hello! Sorry this was short. I didn't want to spend countless day/hours on it.
Be wary- I don't know much about the Autism Spectrum; but I did try doing some research on it. So if I got something wrong, let me know (kindly.)
Like I said before- this fanfic is @behjrbehr 's (TikTok) AU. If they don't want this fanfic up then I will take it down 💙
Hope you enjoyed!
