Two weeks passed by in the blink of an eye and in that time the twelve members of class 1-K progressed at a satisfactory rate. Every single student had made a full recovery from their surgery into Ghoul-hood and they had also made significant progress on improving their Quirks. Unfortunately all twelve students had to live in an apartment building across the road from UA's entrance because aside from Uraraka's patents, no one's parents were happy with their children's decision.

Uta left the day after he made the last mask for the class. He said that he would miss the students but he knew he had work to do down in the 24th. Coincidentally Aizawa began talking to Kaneki again a couple hours after Uta left.

"Wake up, wake up!" Kaneki yelled, bashing on every door in the apartment. "You have the Sports Festival today. Wake up and get out! Don't make me come in there!"

Very slowly all of the young Ghouls came out of their rooms. Some of them were clearly ready for the day ahead, such as Shoto and Denki but others like Katsuki and Toru were not.

"Kachan asked why are you so fucking cheerful?" Izuku said, translating for his mute friend.

"I am, as Cotton Puff put it, so fucking cheerful because I know my students are going to.... Clap the competition." Kaneki replied.

Kaneki placed a mug of coffee in front of every student and plopped a red sugar cube into them. "Drink up. You'll need all of your energy for the day to come."

Aizawa entered the teacher's lounge and witnessed the Elder Ghoul interrogate Vlad King.

"So Vlad King, you are saying that you're not a Ghoul and yet you smell like one." Kaneki said.

"Y-yeah well anyone would if they spent a large amount of time around you." Vlad King replied nervously.

"That's where you are wrong. I am only half-Ghoul, I do not give off the stench of a full Ghoul and Ghouls don't leave their smell on those around them. Try again."

"I don't have a Kakugan like you do."

Aizawa, who was unsure at what was going on could clearly see that the hero had fallen for the Ghoul's trap.

"I never once said what my eye was." Kaneki said softly.

Vlad King lowered his head in defeat for a moment before raising it again, with a drastic change. Both his eyes were now black with red pupils in them.

"All of those with blood based Quirks are Ghouls." The blood hero mumbled. "Are you truly the One Eyed King? Ours died in the Great Purge and ever since then we have been leaderless."

Kaneki didn't say anything. Instead he reached up and removed his mask. Aizawa's jaw slightly dropped and the temperature raised slightly. The man's face was perfect. He somehow had a strong but yet delicate jawline that looked like it had been stolen straight off an angel. Kaneki slightly turned his head to look at Aizawa, his face a pale pink.

"N-Nezu a-sent me t-to tell you t-that the F-festival is about to begin." Aizawa stuttered before quickly bolting out of the room.

Aizawa didn't get very far before he heard Kaneki calling out his name. Aizawa stopped in his track and waited for the Ghoul to catch up.

"I have something for you, as an apology for being an arse to you." Kaneki said upon reaching him. Aizawa's eyes widened in surprise as he was handed a mixture of white, blue and pink Hydrangeas.

"W-why thank you. Your apology is accepted, and besides you weren't the only one being an ass." Aizawa replied.

The two tall men stood there staring at one another for several minutes before Kaneki spoke. "Have I told you about the 24th ward and what I'm doing down there?"

"No I don't think you have." Aizawa replied.

"Well, how about this Saturday I'll tell you about it over a cup of coffee?"

"That sounds like a good idea."

"Good. I know the perfect place."

Izuku stood at the entrance to the obstacle course with the rest of the first years. He was going to win the whole Sports Festival, regardless of what everyone else thought.

"Are you ready to get absolutely stomped?" Ejiro asked.

"How are we going to be stomped? You are the same height as us." Shoto replied.

"It's a saying Todobro."

"ON YOUR MARKS GET SET GO!!" Present Mic suddenly screamed, starling all of the first years.

Shoto was the first out the door, scatting along the ground with his ice, freezing everyone else in place. Or so he thought. Katsuki flew across the frozen landscape with his explosions. Tenya took off at rapid speed after them.

"Later." Ochacko called, canceling gravity on herself and releasing her dual Ukaku wings.

Izuku laughed at his friends display of power before he to was off. Thanks to the training with Sensei he had learned how to handle his Quirk without breaking his body by only using how much his body could handle. Thanks to Sensei's cruel training he could handle One For All all the way up to twenty-five percent. He was like a blur on the field. He paced the Robo-Inferno section of the course, by passing Shoto who was currently in the lead. Then he came to a series of islands suspended over a pit interconnected by steel rods. Before Present Mic was even finished explaining the next section Izuku had already by passed it and was in the homestretch. The homestretch that was full of landmines. Izuku flew across the field with explosions going off left and right. He crossed the finish line and collapsed to the ground, exhausted.

"In first place we have Izuku Midoryia!" Present Mic yelled after a moment of hesitation.
