•_Xiao's POV_•

•_I felt nothing but anger...hate rising above me...guilt overruling me...the worst part of me..is becoming a reality..I truly am a monster...a lonley lifeless monster..

•_i was sitting on the rooftop looking around the surroundings to see if anything was new..hm today the city seems peaceful nothing new..I'll come back here tomorrow or the lights of liyue and the even..

•_I jumped off the roof and head back to where I came from..nowhere..

•_Aether's POV_•

•_after a small fight with helichurles and a abyss mage I found a city..it looked nice..so I walked down the path and entered the city..woah..it's so big..!

•_I went to a citizen and asked,

•_Aether: "hello sir, may you be kind enough to tell me what is this place?"

•_Citizen: "haha! Yes! Of course!, this is liyue! I recommend trying the food here it's delicious! Anyways, tomorrow evening will be a festival! You might wanna tag along!"

•_Aether: "yes of course! See you there kind sir!.."

•_this journey..mondstadt led me to liyue..how pitiful..how..pathetic..how..ungrateful

•_I was walking through the city till I passed a food shop and of course-

•_paimon: "OOOoooo let's go get some food paimon dms hungry!"

•_I nodded sadistically and went to the food shop.

•_Paimon's POV_•

•_traveler doesn't seem himself today..like he's not motivated or has given up.. traveler.. I'm sorry I'm not doing much..please..rest..

•_Aethers POV_•

•_Aether: "hello may I get food to go?"

•_waitress: "of course dear!"

•_Paimon: "that was so delicious..!"

•_Aether: "it truly is..paimon!"

•_paimon looked at me with a sorrowed look and full of guild and sadness..

•_paimon: "traveler is something wrong?"

•_Aether: "it's nothing to worry about paimon let's continue the journey till it's end.."

•_paimon nodded..and I started walking again towards a hotel..there was a lady stood in front of the door.

•_waitress: "hello what would you like? Room, food, luxury?"

•_Aether: "room, please!"

•_waitress: "alright! Follow me!"

•_I was walking behind the lady looking down...

•\|/ 5 minutes\|/•

•_I got to my room and opened it..it was bigger than expected..I went to the couch and sat down putting me face to my knees and burying my face into my knees..

•_this is useless..pathetic..it's just..hectic..I'm lonely..I'm a nobody..loveless..energetic..angsty..immortal...freak..why was I born..why did you have to give birth to me..mother..what was the point..I guess things don't go the way their planned to..what a surprise..

•_i fell asleep on the couch I was shivering and that's what woke me up.. in all honesty I should be used to this by now...but no because my body temperature don't accept it..

•_I went to the kitchen and got a cup of coffee. I sat back down on the couch and drank it putting the blanket that was on the couch around me.

•_I turned on the tv and watched a movie..it was a horror movie but I didn't really mind. I really enjoyed my stay here..it's somewhat peaceful.. I ain't used to this..

•_as I was watching the movie I flinched a little at some jumps scared but that was nothing. I then put my head into the sofa cushion and drifted off to sleep.

**nightmare:**

•_Lumine: "brother.."

•_Aether: "l-lumine!?"

•_Lumine: "you came too late..."

•_Aether: "what do you mean lumine!?"

•_lumine: "aether you can't stop me..I'm still at war with destiny"

**end of nightmare**

•_i woke up flinching and sat up on the couch..it was 9:00am.. so I got up and made myself coffee in the kitchen..and the clumsy young me burnt myself I spilt the coffee all over me.

•_I cleaned myself up and went to the bathroom. I took off my clothes and put my hear down. I then popped into the shower and had a nice y'know shower!

•_I got out the shower and put my clothes back on. I was thinking of doing another hairstyle so I put my hair into a ponytail..not bad I guess..

•_I got out the bathroom and went to the living room, I took my scarf and put it on and left the room, leaving the hotel.

•_I went to the receptionist to sign out but she wasn't there...hm strange..I walked out the building and to my surprise everything was shattered...

•_what on earth..- how could have this happened..- I don't believe it..pfft at this point I'm not even surprised..I mean it's not the first time I've seen something like this..

•_I rolled my eyes and and started walking towards a bridge till I saw a guy jump in front of me..

•_xiao: "hey you!.."

•_he was wearing a mask so I couldn't really figure out how he looks like,

•_aether: "mhm?"

•_xiao: "do you know where everybody is and why everything is shattered?"

•_aether: "nope, no clue-!"

•__Xiao's POV__•

•_another pathetic mortal thinking they are better than me..he doesn't look like he is from here..hm..

•_xiao: "well then mortal I shall get going goodbye"

•__Aether's POV__•

•_well rude- and you're not the only one immortal here thank you very much! Anyways I looked around and made my way to mondstadt till I got blocked by 1 abyss mage, 2 beast and 4 helichurles..not bad!

•_I got to work! It took a good half an hour! What a waste..as I started to walk again..

•_I couldn't really understand what happened but I did hope to get answers in mondstadt I'm sure to get something!

•_I feel poor for the city..hmm..I'll visit tomorrow see if anything has changed, I was still tired I mean fight non-stop without rest for months, I mean what else would you expect!? Nothing, exactly..

•__maybe I should just lose hope on finding my sister..should I maybe..give myself a break..?__•
